No it isn't...I missed out the word ''treated as''
Wind your neck in!
You admit to race baiting... all done here.
I just love how some whites condone blatantly racist acts, and when others merely point it out, they accuse said messenger of "race-baiting." What they choose not to understand is that they have the privilege of being in denial like this.
Are you accusing me of condoning racists acts? If so, which one and provide proof please...
Why are you being so defensive? Racism is a system, not just a set of specific acts, although there are some that clearly fall into the latter category. You do know this, right?
Black people get sentences that are 10% longer than White people who have committed the same crimes and have the same backgrounds. Predominantly Black schools get less school funding than predominantly White schools in the same district (which means property tax differences don't explain the difference.) Black and White people smoke the same amount of weed, but Black people are arrested and jailed for marijuana possession more than White people. Employers hire White people over Black people with identical resumes. White people are offered housing contracts over Black people when both have the same economic status and credit score.I am not being defensive... I was trying to make sure we are on the same page by seeking clarification. Helps with misunderstandings...
Of course racism can be a system. Apartheid. The USA though are people committing specific individual acts unless they are Le Raza, the KKK or the NAACP, for instance.

Those aren't "specific individual acts". That is a system. Anybody who doesn't see this should make an appointment with a therapist to discuss why their main coping mechanism is denial.

It would be nice to see the sources of that info.
I love that your single example of sexism is a statistic in which men are the victims even though sexism more often affects women. It says a lot about where your head is at on this issue. In case, the fact that violence against men isn't taken seriously is an effect of anti-female sexism. Women are viewed as weaker and thus, the violence they use against men isn't taken as seriously. Who would have thought that men's historical sexism against women would hurt them in the end?Yes. I agree that there are massive issues with the legal system. It is racist and it is also sexist. Men get into far more trouble and get substantially more jail time than women do for domestic violence even though almost 40% of all cases are woman against man. They use weapons such as knives in these incidents but they get warnings... I understand this aspect. I just don't see it as a nationwide societal issue.
Yes you were. Throwing around terms such as "race-baiting" when I am simply trying to have an honest conversation about race does not help.

It's also telling to me that the only statistic of mine you referenced is the one about legal issues even though I showed systemic discrimination several other areas as well. Frankly, if you don't think that anti-black discrimination in education, housing and employment in addition to the law and courts is evidence of a nationwide societal issue, you are in denial. If you in denial that severe with don't have enough common ground to discuss this topic with each other.
..and, can bury things that should be national causes.
Can't make it any more clear for you... I was not being defensive.

That second sentence contradicts the first.
