The article linked below says otherwise and I agree with it mostly. After eight years of Bill Clinton working mostly for the 1% and doing little or nothing for his base, I expected the same from Obama. I'm sure republicans disagree, reading their posts on forums, and listening to talk radio. Now gun control, Gay rights and immigration? Democrats have to have something to run on. But economic issues, they're not much different than republicans any more. My opinion anyway until someone convinces me otherwise. This article was written right after the 2008 election.

He's turned into a a flat out NWO Socialist despot with illusions of grandeur and a comfee future to look forward to.

Well, I suppose he is the 'new' form of liberal which is more 'center' than 'left.'
 
I have found Obama to be a bit more conservative than expected....he almost fits the mold of a republican from 20 yrs. ago, almost.

He might seem less liberal to me due to the "New" version of conservatism, as the GOP moves further right the middle shifts as well.

He's the biggest ideological leftist ever to sit at the WH oval office desk.
Why the biggest?
Because he learned at the knee of Soros to whom going around the world saying what needs to be said to whoever he's speaking to at the moment to achieve his goal is de rigeur.
That's what Obama brings to the Presidency on our National scale.
He'll outright lie in order to calm fears about a healthcare plan or foreign policy matters always with his eye firmly focused on advancing his leftist agenda.

Who cares what the lips and Silver tongue say when they are lying, Obama governs like Bush on steroids.

He favors the status quo, and his cabinet choices do too.
 
Well, at least the Authoritarian leftists and authoritarian righties are in agreement agree that he is not a liberal here.
 

Coming from people as far left as those at Undernews, it is no surprise they see Obama that way.

I think this might be a more objective view of where Obama is on the political spectrum.
