Although there is no “perfect conservative,” and although conservatives have serious issues with every candidate running, Mitt Romney is nothing more than a strident liberal masquerading as a moderate. As Selwyn Duke rightly wrote in 2007, Romney is the Barack Obama of the GOP. Every Republican has made his share of mistakes, but Romney is a committed liberal on the whole spectrum of issues.
In my mind this really seals Romney’s RINO status. Liberals are comfortable with him because he’s one of them. Ugh.
The age-old conservative-liberal debate about the role of government in our society was put in stark light when last week, Mitt Romney demanded that our communities become less secure and our children less educated (by continuing to fire teachers, police officers, and firefighters).
Romney can be stopped if conservatives do two things. First conservatives must unite. We must agree, regardless of whether we like Gingrich, Perry, or Santorum, that Romney must be stopped. The second thing is conservatives must hit Romney on his liberal record. Romney is not a Massachusetts moderate. He is a liberal.
If he is, he must have had a really hard time pandering to the radical right during the primaries. Or he's a better actor than I thought..

Hes a better actor..actually hes a chamelleon, to me he wreaks of phony. Romney is the type of guy that can be whatever you want him to be or whatever he needs to be to get what he wants....He acts to me like he thinks hes ENTITLED to be president because he was successful screwing the working class while at bain....being rich is no indication you have a good moral ethic or integrity or even common decency..it only means YOUR RICH...nothing more and it doesnt make you a better human being as some rich think they are
He's neither a Liberal or a Neoconservative, he governed Massachusetts as a moderate out of necessity, and would most likely do the same if elected president.
He's just adjustable. Not a FauxNEWS Republican,......

As I see it, Mitt Romney is a strong conservative in one area: tax policy for the wealthy, limited regulation on industry and generally favorable treatment for the wealthy to maximize their wealth building potential. Most other issues, he seems willing to pander, "evolve", bend and adjust as necessary in order to maximize voter support.
Which means he's not a Conservative at all. Being Liberal on even one issue makes you a Liberal in whole.
Well that's just flat out false...
Romney's a sound choice given the star wars bar collection of posters whining against him in this thread. far left, fascist right and just plain bat crap crazy conspiracy nuts all dislike Mitt.

It seems many-a-Conservative writers agree. Romney is in fact a Liberal. So, with that said, what do you guys think? Is he? Is he not?
Which means he's not a Conservative at all. Being Liberal on even one issue makes you a Liberal in whole.
