Is Jubilee still worthwhile?

This video is Jubilee in a nutshell.

Is it really worthwhile even going on that show? Its like the Jerry Springer show of debates but without physical fights that really has never been about bringing people together, more creating a spectacle around debates. They have certainly failed at their supposed mission.

There was one that popped up in my feed about open fascists talking about Franco.

I can't stand MAGA but I doubt those people represent most MAGA voters.

I think MAGA voters by in large do not follow the news or pay close attention to policy. They like Trump because they tells them what they like to hear and pretends to look strong and tough.
 
What i notice about a lot of these things is the onus is still only on the left to be open minded and coexist while charlie kirk and the fascists in the medhi hassan episode are not asked to coexist with anyone else.

The 20 fascists do not want to coexist, its impossible to coexist with them so this shit is entirely unnecessary. Expecting a potential victim to coexist with people who want them dead is impossible.

Medhi Hassan later stated that he was lied to by the producers of Jubilee regarding who he would be debating. Reminds me of the jerry springer show itself, an incredibly malicious pageantry of shit.

The incredibly ironic thing is this shit can get clicks but protest ethnic cleansing or even say the word gun, you’re demonetized.

They represent way more than you realize and this is a very important thing to figure out, and quickly.
 
From a debate perspective, not so much. The few I've seen don't really provide the forum to really debate an issue well, since debates allow for more time so debaters can properly frame their positions and defend them. This type of format feels more like a battle of soundbites, and in the case of the one with Mehdi, none of the debaters were particularly good.
