But back on topic. Yes, it is possible to be a Bushy and a Jesus-freak.

It is also possible to be a Hippy and a Jesus freak.

I have known people who fall into both molds.

Sure, you can be. Perhaps your reasons have nothing to do with Christianity. I can't read someone's heart or mind, but Bush's actions are not Christian. However, that doesn't mean he can't fool a Chrisitan, or that a Christian votes for him for other reasons.

You can be a Christian and still support the President even President Bush.
Most of the major religions were spread by violence, for that matter still are.
Supporting President Bush is easy if you agree with what he has done so far, it matters not one iota whether you are a Christian or any other religion.
In fact I fail to see what Christianity has to do with supporting or agreeing with the actions of any politician.

No, it's not a lie. A lie is an attempt to deceive someone. Christians that are (still) into Bush believe it. Not all Christians support Bush. And there are less Christians now than used to support Bush.
