Musk is, like Trump and I’m starting to gather Bezos and Zuckerberg as well, nothing but pro themselves. So assigning them an overarching ideology beyond this would be probably be false.

He is a fascist and supports Nazi's and the fascist Russian govt. What he meant by that statement is that alliances like NATO are wrong because they prevent the strong from conquering the weak which is the natural order according to him.

Their ideology is mallable, and morphs as their path to greater wealth changes over time.

Yes, and No. A true Globalist wants a world where National Borders are more like State Boarders. A world where everyone benefits from advances.

Now Musk does want something for the world. Only the goal for the MAGA is more along the lines of World Domination.

Prior to World War One Turkey was interested in a Treaty with Great Britain. In one of History’s examples of stupid arrogance Britain sent Churchill to explain that Britain would not sign any Treaties with Turkey, but Turkey could be pleased in knowing that Britain thought favorably towards them.

The message received was that Turkey wasn’t good enough for a treaty. Great Britain was Great and Turkey was, to put it simply, not in any way.

That was the foundation of the resentment that ended up with Britain deciding not to deliver the warships that Turkey had bought and paid for, and Turkey ended up in the camp of the Central Powers. A Treaty by that time seemed like a cheap way to avoid the pain. Keeping Turkey on the side of the Allies was worth far more than the two ships they got.

We see the same sort of arrogance in our Leaders today. We are great and you aren’t. We are awesome and you are lucky to be in our presence. The fact that this sort of Arrogance has always led to sorrow is not lost on some of us who read history.

Countries we don’t plan on taking over, should consider themselves lucky to be friends with us.

So while Musk seems to have Global designs, it isn’t Globalism, as Globalism would give equal weight to what the other nations want and need.
 
He is pretty much the definition of a globalist. That MAGA ostensibly opposes globalism, but now reveres Elon only speaks to the low IQ/low agency masses who worship Trump.

Elon is a rootless capitalist with a skin suit ideology. He has no loyalty to a particular people or ideology. He has loyalty to his brand and his money. That’s it.
 
This thread has about four definitions of the word “globalist” so far.

I don’t think we’re going to solve this one here.

I’m curious in what you mean by “the goal for MAGA”.

MAGA is a slogan. There is a Donald Trump MAGA PAC ($17M) funded almost exclusively by “Save America”, another Trump PAC ($300+M). [BTW, PACs moving money to other PACs with the same ownership smacks of a type of money hiding/laundering - called “layering” - I think this needs to be looked into ]

There is, as far as I can find, no “MAGA” platform. No MAGA organization. There is Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

My point is, we speak of MAGA like it’s an organization. Like you could reach out and touch it. It’s isn’t, actually. It’s not like The John Birch Society or a Heritage Foundation, with an office, a hierarchy, etc.

He runs multinational businesses.

He sticks his fingers into and becomes involved in trying to sway the outcome of elections around the world.
