Geez, Nota.Perhaps you could explain why?
Perhaps you could explain why?
Is Bannon on the way out?
I would hope so. Followed soon by Trump!
Trump is, at times, a conservative like Rand Paul but he's not a Conservative like Mike Pence, Jeb! or Bannon...or imagep. If he fired Bannon, would that in your estimation, be an insight into the fickle nature of being in Donald Trumps good and ill graces? Being in Donald Trump's good graces when you praise him and win him shiny ribbons and bows. And being in his ill graces when Trump needs someone to blame. Because Trump is emotionally and intellectually incapable of admitting fault.
We really need Trump to stay in office. Trump isn't being very effective or re-electible, Pence may be much more effective as his replacement. I'd prefer Trump over Pence.
This..Trump is, at times, a conservative like Rand Paul but he's not a Conservative like Mike Pence, Jeb! or Bannon...or imagep.

Honestly, I think I see Trump as more damaging than Pence in many ways.We really need Trump to stay in office. Trump isn't being very effective or re-electible, Pence may be much more effective as his replacement. I'd prefer Trump over Pence.
I can't imagine putting Bannon in the same vein of "conservatism" as Jeb & Pence, particularly Jeb.Trump is, at times, a conservative like Rand Paul but he's not a Conservative like Mike Pence, Jeb! or Bannon...or imagep.

I can't imagine Pence stoking that hatred, nationalism, and xenophobia, in the manner of Trump. The Southern Poverty Law center claims a tripling of hate groups in the past two years, and I firmly believe Trump is the reason. He's given license to hatred we haven't seen for many decades. It may have been festering here and there mostly underground, but now it's been given license and reasonable acceptance. And it's growing. One need only to look towards Charlotteville.
Yes, Pence would advance tons of legislation against the middle, working, and poor classes. He also would also rescind a fair amount of social progress. But that's what happens when you lose an election; the other guys legislate their causes.
But I see Trump in a special class. He's highly autocratic with disdain for the democratic process and democratic institutions, and as can be seen by comments in this thread he's become more and more Bannon-like.
I was not aware, either way.But pence has not condemned the white supremacists either.
They're all social justice Conservatives. Big government Conservatives.I can't imagine putting Bannon in the same vein of "conservatism" as Jeb & Pence, particularly Jeb.
Bannon is alt-right?? How do you explain Bannon's suggestion to tax the ultra-rich 44 percent as an alt-right position? You can't. Bannon isn't alt-right. Bannon is big government right.Stephen Bannon is Donald Trumps ideological guru and the official White House Chief Strategist in the Trump administration. He is an ex-founder/ex-editor of Breitbart News which Bannon himself described as "the platform for the alt-right". Controversial and virulently anti-establishment, Bannon's ideology has persuaded Trump to appoint Cabinet level officials with open-hostility to the institutions in their charge. Breitbart under Bannon had also been criticized for publishing racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic articles.
IMHO, such a personality should remain a fringe ideologue rather than Trumps official über-nationalist mentor in the Oval Office.

Bannon is probably the guy leaking stuff on Kushner too. I don;t think Trump hurts himself by firing Bannon at all. In fact, it might be a great first step in the right direction.
Better late than never.
Yeah, and then Bannon will get his revenge by turning the breitbart supporters againist trump.
