Those obsessed by reflexively defending Police efforts to be unaccountable and secret about their own excessive use of force and police rank and file, predominately right wing extremist political orientation and those firmly anti BLM protest for reforms and accountability,
tarring candidate Biden with inaccurate claims he is committed to "defunding police" have another think coming.

Police have a long history of mindlessly defunding the taxpayers supporting the government entities who organize, equip, and pay police to mostly
protect property, not residents.

All of the above has been obvious to those of us who support thorough reforms and forced civilian review and accountability of post demilitarized
American police agencies. Those who disagree advocate what amounts to eternal "cat chasing its own tail" level, incoherence, resulting in cruel and counterproductive police who like Trump, apply a much stricter version of law and order to those they do not like compared to their supporters and themselves.

How dare they? This supports that police and their largely right wing apologists are not about law enforcement, but are about
resisting accountability to investigative reporting and to civilian control.
