Intraparty tensions could cleave Dems

I say good, the less these idiots in congress can get done I say the better.

Intraparty tensions could cleave Dems - Manu Raju - Politico.com

What would do this country a massive favor would be two great schisms in both parties.

The fiscally liberal socially conservative yay jesus part of the GOP becoming its own party leaving the fiscal conservatives and social moderates as their own and the fiscally liberal, uber socially liberal socialists in the Democrats becoming their own party and the fiscal conservative, social moderates joining with their counterparts in break away faction of the GOP.

Then we'd actually have some choices for a change.

Intraparty tensions undoubtedly will rise up; I think that's just the natural state when one party controls everything.

I'd look for union issues and trade issues to split the coastal Democrats from the midwestern Democrats. Hopefully the free trade wing of the party will prevail, as it did in the 1990s.
