Do those giving the "orders" not believe that they are in the U.S.? Whether those under attack are ICE agents or "Joe Blow" is it legal for mobs to attack American citizens? Excerpt:
Chicago police officers en route to help federal agents who were being surrounded and menaced by an angry mob of ICE protesters were seemingly ordered by their chief of patrol to stand down and not provide assistance, stunning dispatch audio and internal messages reveal.
The group of agents was conducting a routine patrol on the city’s South Side on Saturday “when they were attacked and rammed by vehicles and boxed in by 10 cars,” the Department of Homeland Security said....

Local cops were initially prepared to help the agents, but were ordered to stand down by the chief of patrol, according to shocking dispatch audio transmissions....

“When the offending vehicle crashed, they ran the federal agent off the road, they fled on foot westbound.”

If they’re going to push a lie, they should at least keep the lie the same when they repeat it over and over.

nope nope nope, you don't get to cheer when brown children get caught in razorwire and drown in the Rio, then turnaround and make a humanity-based plea on behalf of brownshirts who get off on traumatizing other brown children.

I hope non-MAGA becomes increasingly comfortable with fighting fire with fire. Too long have Democrats watched as Republicans take the low road and laugh in Democrats' faces as they defeat themselves by clinging to the high road in the deluded belief that this could somehow shame Republicans into doing the right thing.

What the hell are border agents doing in Chicago to begin with. Did not realize Chicago was on any of our borders. They and ICE have been attacking not only illegals but our citizens. Instead of worrying about the border agents getting help, get them back to the border and hire decent people to be ICE agents instead of thugs.

Dispatch audio CONFIRMS Chicago police were ORDERED not to assist Federal Agents that were cornered earlier today in Chicago. Agents were ACTIVELY IN ROUTE when the order was given. Dispatcher initially seemed slightly taken back by the order, but promptly relayed the message to all responding units.

ICE lobbed Tear gas at bystanders outside a grade school and also gassed CPD in a different incident.

Reading this thread you quickly get the sense that for many on the left the opportunity to virtue signal is far more important than is having a concern for the safety of those who work for ICE.

Wow, a 300 lb scooter in front of a 4000 lb vehicle midday on a busy street in slow traffic. Real big threat, I got an idea, let’s drop tear gas in front of a bunch of children outside an elementary school..

You should get some updated breaking news sources. The Chicago Police per the Chief of Police never gave that order to ignore them, and have always sided with ICE because of the recent illegal action of rioters who boxed ICE in with their cars.
