He wants to leave politics because he has been warned Tesla is at a fork in the road and it's code red. He also wants out of there before the entire Doge thing is exposed as the real fraud , waste and abuse it is.

Doge is just as much of a huge failure as Donald's "Election Integrity Commission," the ridiculous waste of effort he set up after the 2016 election to try to prove his lie that Hillary did not really get more votes than he did. It wasted money, accomplished nothing, and was quietly disbanded months after it's inception.

Donald is just a stupid liar; and will try to bring along anyone naive enough to believe his lies.

Doge has cost the government money, ruined efficiency by firing key people, and saved the government no money at all. Worse, it is severely damaged the reputation of Tesla, and hurt sales. Musk will slink away from politics with a bad reputation for being an extremist who is not able to back up his claims.

Nobody should ever have anything to do with Musk, or any of his products.

Anyone who stays on twitter is helping to circulate dangerous rumors. The platform should be de-popularized and relegated to obcsurity.

Actually, it fell apart almost right away. Trump stacked it with anti immigration cranks and voter suppression activists.

They had a hidden agenda (aas many Trump stunts do). Their first act was to demand the voter registration data from all 50 states. The obvious intent was to set up a national voter caging operation. A Republican wet dream!

When many states (including red ones) refused to comply with an illegal order, the effort fell apart.
