I follow Trump on Twitter. I have found that the frequency and ridiculousness of his tweets are proportionate to how concerned he is with the day's headlines. Those tweets are most often just a diversion from the day's real news. He wants your focus elsewhere.

It is amusing to me, especially on days when a Trump tweet is breaking news on MSNBC. I would personally prefer Presidents not have social media accounts, but to the extent that they do, he certainly epitomizes twitter.

1. example of President calling for civil war if things don't go his way - fact that he chose to quote someone else does not diminish the importance
2. a good illustration of him being both a dummy and a narcissist
3. another good illustration of him being a dumb narcissist

Its a big misconception on your part, yes ladders and ropes work but they 1. are an expense 2. people don't want to carry 3. harder to use 4. make lots of noise 5. take time to deploy and use. All make an impact to the amount of people who willing to go to such lengths and with the biggest impact is it increases the rate at which are agents can catch people, which further depresses the amount of people who are willing to try. Of course technology should be used but most of the tech that's been theorized relys on firm solid bases like motion sensers and flood lights for example, all which a wall provides supports for. Technology that only tells us that someone crossed here hours ago is not good tech.

We can talk about other measures that can be used for border security, but a physical barrier is a good first step. Personally, I want the national guard at the border, I think Trump is being a little bit too soft on that front.

Have you heard of sensor towers and drones? You don't need an expensive wall to support the tech you describe.
