Imagine a world where progressives were listened to first, not last. Where progressives were an equal part of the conversation, and not the opinion and direction of last resort -- fought against by the center and the right-wing -- after the calamity and the aftermath had done their damage and there were not other options. When the mainstream opinion stops resisting and says, 'Okay, you win, you were right all along'. Not a progressive world, just one where progressives were taken seriously on economics, foreign policy, human rights, etc.
Would there have been an Iraq invasion?
Would there have been a Economic Collapse in 2007?
Would there have been a Donald Trump?
Would there have been a genocide in Gaza?
You can traces this thought back years, decades, centuries. Seems to me that virtually everything that happens is a reaction and fallout to progressive ideas not being taken seriously. I mean, not until it's too late.
If the first mainstream reaction was that progressives were right (as they are 99% of the time), imagine what that world would look like...
