I'm curious, does anyone know of someone 'faking' transgender for a nefarious purpose?

Transgender people have more than enough to deal with the public just learning basic information and behaving decently.

But until they do, there are a lot of fears - 'Johnny will say he's transgender to get into the girl's shower'. 'Tim will say he's transgender to compete in women's sports'. 'Mike will say he's transgender to use the women's restroom'. (It seems men pretending is most of the fear).

The misbehavior, fraud, trolling, evil could be an epidemic of bad behavior 'faking' transgender.

Yet I can't think of a single case of it actually happening, which seems remarkable (brownie point if you said 'not far from voter fraud'.)

For all the hype and fearmongering, does anyone know actual times this has happened?

I know of one young lady (17) who is trying out the transgender scenario. Yes...that's the way her mother says she said it. "Trying it out"
Yeah, don't ask..I've not the faintest idea. None.

Seems like you are asking about someone who is NOT-transgender faking to be one. Not only that but then telling me the reason they are doing it happens to be criminal.

That being the case, you are correct at least for me. No one ever told be that.

This takes me back to gays coming out in the 1970s and people claiming that was a fad. I suppose it is for a few, maybe looking for attention. But in general, and like then with coming out as gay, who would choose to be such a social outlier?
