“Kamala Harris will be in a much stronger position to win if she can run as the President of the United States - - as the incumbent President. This will give the country a chance to see her in action - - as the most powerful person in the world. She will have three and a half months to show the American people her smarts, her strengths, her heart.” - Michael Moore

I agree 100%.

Kamala needs to invoke Amendment XXV and properly oust Joe Biden. She should have done this a long time ago, IMO.

Righties before Biden dropped out: "Please stay in, Joe."
Righties after Biden dropped out: "OMG I HATE YOU GET OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE"

You really need to stop listening to the right-wing handlers.

It's funny how you "agree 100%", but say she needs to invoke the XXV Amendment. That is NOT what Moore said. Doing that would be divisive to the Democratic Party, and unnecessarily reduce support for Harris. Forcibly ousting him is out of the question.

The smartest thing to do is for Joe to stay at the helm, freeing Kamala to campaign in earnest without having to suddenly run the country too, at least until after the convention a month from now. If she then becomes the official party nominee, he can then resign Labor Day weekend, and turn the reins over to her for the last two months. She'll be the incumbent on Election Day, and Joe can fade away into happy retirement without any more public appearances until her Inauguration Day in January 2025.

My guy, she’s not going to win any election

Heck no. Let her focus on her strengths in the campaign instead of trying to take up the reins on someone else's policies and programs.

She's welcome to comment or strategize on them as examples.

What I'm suggesting is that she might take her party's nomination in 2028. She is well positioned to do that. You can argue otherwise, but its academic. Time will tell.

To some, she'd look like an opportunist if she did that.

Let the poor guy just finish up his term (6 months left on the dot as of Sunday) and let him leave with dignity.

He lost his dignity years ago mate

Jabba the Hut expressed his concerns about Kamala abandoning her extremist neo-Marxism and taking more "centrist" positions:

"If Kamala Harris suddenly starts taking ‘centrist’ positions in order to not offend anyone — yet in doing so she ends up offending everyone, i.e., the MAJORITY of Americans who are liberal, Left and progressive women, People of Color, young people, and the working class. That is not going to happen," said Moore.

Jabba also expressed concerns about the pro-Palestine/Pro Hamas voters in Michigan:

"I think one way to fix things in Michigan would be for Vice President Harris and her running mate to make a major announcement in Detroit, on a stage with numerous area Arab Americans, Muslims, and leaders of a wide-ranging coalition of Jewish peace groups, to offer her action plan as to what she and Biden can do now to keep their initial promise to Netanyahu - - that if he uses American tax dollars or weapons to violate international law and human rights, such ‘assistance’ will be withheld," said Moore.

I agree 100%.
Yes, we can all be assured that you want Harris to win, and that your advice is not just unbiased, but as pure as freshly fallen snow.

What a dumb post. 🤪 I never said that I "want Harris to win". You made that shit up.

I was agreeing that Kamala Harris should run as the incumbent president. That can only happen if Amendment XXV is invoked, and Harris becomes POTUS pro-tem, (OR if Joe Biden steps down as POTUS/Commander-In-Chief voluntarily, which is highly unlikely)

I wish you lefty loonies would THINK before you post your nonsensical arguments.

No - that can, and very likely will happen, after the convention, when I expect Biden to step down. Perhaps by the Labor Day weekend. It makes no sense for him to resign his office before she becomes the party's official nominee. By not being president, she is entirely free to put her team together, and devote all of her energy to campaigning. Afterwards, ....

And this is exactly the asinine nonsense argument I'm talking about.

You cannot even formulate an actual argument, so instead you post a picture of a sign, hoping that this is sufficient.

Only it's not. It's lame. My best advice is if you nothing intelligent to say, don't say anything.
OK, instead of a picture, how about I just call your OP baiting?

No one is going to call for XXV, that is wishful thinking on your part.

That's a good point. Biden could step down voluntarily, and the end result is that Harris becomes the incumbent President. That would be slick. I really don't see that happening, though (Biden stepping down).

I guess time will tell. Biden is tired, and would probably prefer spending the rest of his days in politics just campaigning for her at his own comfortable pace, without the weight of the world on his shoulders.

We'll all know soon enough.
