Illinois governor signs disaster declaration, calls up National Guard to assist with migrants bused from Texas

I have been known to call stupid racism out, repeatedly. Which Operation lonestar II obviously is. Imagine how racist a govenor has to be to call the national guard troops to deal with peaceful immigrants.

Maybe you don't see it. That says quite a bit about your views on brown people....

Mayor Lori Lightfoot suggested federal aid should be diverted from Texas given Gov. Greg Abbott's actions to bus migrants to northern cities.

Illinois, will, of course, take care of these legal migrants, and hopefully get federal funds diverted from Texas to Illinois. They are also looking at criminal liability, since it seems that many of the migrants were not informed that they had a choice to not take the bus by Abbotts goons, despite being made to sign waivers absolving Abbott from all responsibility.

All Abbott really needed to do was let the government know when and where these busses were coming. And he couldn’t even do that. Pitiful excuse for a leader.

Either way, Illinois is happy to have more productive workers come here. Chicago will certainly be able to absorb the 500 people who have arrived easily, as Biden has driven unemployment numbers so low its tough to find workers for entry level jobs these days.

Did Abbott file the same motion against Biden, Harris and Mayorkis? If not, why not?
