Explain how controlling your border instead of having it a haven for gangs and abusers is "xenophobia". Seems like you don't know how to use that word.
Hating immigrants pretty much qualifies, if not all but defines, xenophobia.
In fact, I'd say that merely proclaiming that undocumented migration is some sort of dire problem that is an existential threat to
white people Americans is also pretty damned xenophobic.
Seriously, dude. Undocumented immigrants haven't caused a single recession; they didn't cause the pandemic; they haven't stopped unemployment from falling to historic lows; they didn't cause the housing affordability crisis; they aren't causing mass shootings; they aren't causing companies to automate jobs and lay off workers; not only are they not increasing crime rates, but it's a fact that the undocumented migrant population
grew at the same time that crime rates fell.
I.e. there isn't a single actual problem the US has faced in the past, oh, 50 years or so that can intelligibly be blamed on undocumented migrants or migration. Why is this allegedly some massive problem again?
You mean Obama and Biden.
I see you decided not to get real.
So it is smart to let that increase and kill more and more people. That's just evil.
Or, you're just completely full of conspiracy bullshit.
You realize that they are they ones that caused the huge increase in the first place, or don't you?
No, they aren't. Nor have you in any way, shape or form proven that's what happened. That's because, again...
US policies don't cause migration. For example, Bush 43 was relatively open to migration -- and yet, during his term in office, the numbers of undocumented immigrants in the US
fell. Obama was also open to immigration, and the number of border apprehensions fell to levels not seen since the 1970s. Trump was openly hostile to both legal and undocumented migrants, yet southwestern border apprehensions
increased during his term. 2019 saw more apprehensions than in the previous decade.
And yet again... Biden hasn't passed any immigration legislation, and the courts blocked many of his migration policies. To wit:
• Trump didn't build anything remotely resembling an effective border wall, so no change there.
• Trump wasn't able to get rid of DACA, so no change there.
• Ending the anti-Muslim travel ban obviously didn't affect undocumented border crossings.
• His attempt to temporarily stop deportations was blocked almost immediately by the courts.
• His restricting ICE from deporting people based on mostly non-violent offenses didn't cause more people to try to cross the border.
• When Title 42 was active, immigration agents were empowered to turn away tons of migrants; the courts blocked Biden's attempts to end it. However, it was in place until May. It's now over, which means a more lax policy is now in place and...
the number of border crossers has fallen.
So. How the **** did Biden "cause an increase" when there were almost no actual policy changes? Why did a policy change that made it easier to get into the US result in fewer border crossings?
The reality is that people are migrating because of
issues in their nation of origin. Yeesh.
That's as dumb as praising Biden for high inflation because it's not at his highest level. Shitty job, either way. Wise up.
lololol
And yet more bullshit. Biden didn't cause inflation, and it was the Fed that reduced inflation.
And don't even pretend for a moment that if a Republican were in office, you'd be screaming about how
awful it is that they tamed inflation and reduced border crossings.
