She, unlike the other two, built up a huge war chest in anticipation of a healthy challenge. It may have dissuaded credible challengers.

For some reason, AIPAC stayed out of her race, unlike the two similar primaries it spent the most in US history using Republican money. And guess what - the opponent used the same arguments against her, but without the millions from AIPAC, she won.

The reason is simple: they knew her primary opponent was unlikely to win given her fundraising and the riding's demography, nevermind her polling, and that of her opponent. Meanwhile, like a lawyer conscious of their track record, AIPAC wants to cherry pick relatively sure things to maintain it, whereas Ilhan Omar's riding was definitely less than even money. A political influence group is a lot more imposing if it can accurately brag (as it does) that its 2024 primary candidates have never lost a contest.

Also it should be noted that Michael Sinensky, a wealthy Zionist who sought to help fill the funding void left by AIPAC's absence, tellingly believes that 'Christian Neo Nazis' are preferable to 'socialist, Marxist, anarchists' he grossly misidentifies Ilhan Omar as being:

well 2 Marxists went down..but they are like cockroaches -they'll be back

Likely the reason she won. **** AIPAC.
It's not clear how to fight AIPAC, except to spread the truth to affect public opinion, so that their millions of dollars to buy votes buys fewer. Another option would be to better organize fundraising for the anti-genocide candidates, but there seem fewer big donors for them.

Nonviolent protests at AIPAC's Washington headquarters? Just spitballing here.

I'm in favor of it, but don't think it'll help. How will it affect the millions they spend?

Protests wouldn't stop the money flowing, but they would attract attention to the problems created by AIPAC. Gotta start somewhere. 🤷‍♂️

I'm agreeing I'd like to see them, but how much attention would they get? What would they do? Would anyone change their opinion on AIPAC? Not the donors, so the money keeps flowing... AIPAC is on the verge of getting the government to ban any such protests anyway... they already outlawed things like boycotting the country (the only country in the world with that protection taking away Americans' rights).

They can try. That would only add to the visibility of the protests.

Most states already outlaw boycotting them, in the last year they got Congress to say all criticism of them is "anti-Semitism" to make is subject to laws against anti-Semitism, they got University presidents including Harvard fired for allowing protests, they've gotten police to allow violent attacks of pro-Palestinians protests... thankfully the opposition remains, even if the protests seem much fewer.

I'd have to look into it to see what's exactly being boycotted. But if it's nonviolent protests themselves, that's a clear First Amendment violation.

You're the 2nd person I'm responding to since being gone for 43 days.
If Cori Bush"s supporters don't turn out in Missouri, the DEM Marine Kunce can't beat Hawley.
Kunce is helped by abortion rights being on the Missouri ballot.
I've donated to him, Tester, and Sherrod for the Senate so far.

Flipping the House really looks good after viewing all 435 races.
Democrats in AZ-1 and AZ-6 are definitely in position to flip.
Things look great in California and New York.

The laws are against boycotting their country, the BDS movement.

But if it's nonviolent protests themselves, that's a clear First Amendment violation.

They've gone to war against American protesters, with a huge media campaign to smear them as anti-Semites, as violent; they've pushed for the protests to be attacked and dismantled as 'fighting anti-Semitism', they've gotten officials fired for not attacking the protests enough, they've gotten police to ignore violent attacks on the protesters, and they're trying to do more.

Which proves voters in her district are either dumber then a bag of hammer or just as bigoted as she is.
Whatever you may feel about them or Oman's politics, let's keep it real; when it comes to dumb, they're definitely not beating out the Zionist Michael Sinensky, one of the primary organizers of her opposition, who would sooner align with what he admitted to be Nazis (and insanely referred to the Ukrainians as an example of such) than the 'socialist, Marxist, anarchists' he absurdly hallucinated Ilhan as being.

Good for Ilhan. She's among the best in Congress, if not the best.

Also, ban AIPAC. It's a foreign lobbying group. And punish Israel for election interference on a scale that would make Iran, Russia, and China combined look like quaint by comparison.

Heres an idea, how about you libs dont run anti-Semitic a-holes like Fire Marshall Bowman and Cori Bush. Then AIPAC will spend their money elsewhere.
