Candidates | VoteVets.org
This website lists all the veterans who are serving in political offices.
Guess which party they are? That's right. Democrat.
Funny how the gop loves to talk all this bluster about "War" and "support our troops," but the Democrat party is the ONLY party that actually serves
My guess would be that many of the vets in office are from the Vietnam War era, which both puts them about in the general age group for political office and tends to be a liberal generation. Most of the military people I know lean right, but that's probably an extent of them being friends with members of my family (generally fiscal conservatives, etc. etc.). I haven't read much of the statistics on political lean among the military, so I can't really comment on this.

The idea that only the demorats have veterans in office is pure BS.
A quick check of the make-up of congress (link below) shows that many repulicants now serving are veterans.

How come on the list I posted of veterans serving in Congress, there were ZERO republicraps?
You need to branch out and stop limiting yourself to leftwing websites.
How come on the list I posted of veterans serving in Congress, there were ZERO republicraps?
Because, Grasshopper, you relied on a single, very partisan political action committee's (PAC) website. Note that your supplied website even admits to being a 'progressive' PAC. Sometimes it pays to do just a little research before you make ridiculous claims.
VoteVets PAC has endorsed both Democrats and Republicans.
How come on the list I posted of veterans serving in Congress, there were ZERO republicraps?
Why does the list you posted only shows 12 vets in Congress when there are at least 80?
Straight from the horse's mouth
Though progressive, VoteVets PAC has endorsed both Democrats and Republicans.
They were already linked. Nobody can force you to click the link. But why do you suppose your list didn't include John McCain, John Boehner, Louie Gohmert, Tom Cotton, Darrell Issa, Duncan Hunter or any of the rest of the 80 veterans currently serving in Congress?List them. And tell me the ratio D to R
List them. And tell me the ratio D to R

looks like 18 out of the 81 are Democrat.
And the ones who are republican just served a few days in the guard, while the Democrats were the ones deployed overseas, putting life and limb on the line
And the ones who are republican just served a few days in the guard, while the Democrats were the ones deployed overseas, putting life and limb on the line
Looks like the evidence is contradictory to the OP assertions, what else does the OP have?
Like John McCain? And the ones who are republican just served a few days in the guard, while the Democrats were the ones deployed overseas, putting life and limb on the line

This is very telling...
try to go to the link....
"The page you’re looking for isn’t here, but it’ll be ok."
Nope. Anthony Brown, Tammy Duckworth, Tulsi Gabbard, and Jason Kander are all veterans of the GWOT (Global War on Terror)
I gleaned that a bit late. I should have ignored him altogether. there were certain things that were very obvious.Coincidentally, the OP isn't here any more either.
