If you find gay/trans perverted, why?

I've asked this question of most of the bigoted transphobic/Homophobic folks here, but i never get a viable response.
Normally, they just refuse to answer.
Or, they'll answer "if you don't know i feel sorry for you", or something along those lines.

I'd like to try and understand what makes some think their sexual proclivities are less or more perverse than other folks.

I recall as a teenager, sitting around with my friends shooting the shit. We'd discuss all sorts of topics. One day, homosexuality came up. We all agreed that watching two beautiful females kissing would be pleasing. But, when visualizing two men kissing on the mouth, their grisly beards scratching against one another, the reactions became mixed.
Now, none of us were bigots as teenagers, but I wondered, what caused some kids to swing towards bigotry in adulthood, and others to lean towards acceptance and inclusion?
 
Closed minds vs. open minds.
An inclination toward being judgmental vs. non-judgmental.
Believing oneself to be a know-it-all vs. being humble and recognizing that you don't know everything.
Living in relative provincial isolation vs. living in a broader more cosmopolitan environment.
Extreme religious fundamentalism.

Some or all of the above.
 
I don't know all that much about this but I think it has to do with the perception that females are 'switch hitters' who can go either way by choice. For males, it don't (normally) work that way. Also it plays into the two girl - one guy sexual fantasy.
 
For starters, I do not conflate the two.

There is nothing perverted about either.


There ARE, however, vast legions of leftists too stupid to understand principles, and who operate strictly according to groupthink.
 
I like decent human beings who care about others and the world around them.
I dislike people who foment hate and division, especially when it is born of ignorance.
(Like people who 'hate gays' but don't know any)
We have a few gay friends, and you could not ask for better people.

So, I take it you believe its attributable to social conditioning as opposed to a physiological difference between men and Women?

So, your view is they're not perverted, but leftists can't think for themselves.

I don't see how the part about leftists pertains to the topic. But I definitely see this reoccurring theme in many of your posts.
 
I think the answer is simple. It is repulsive to most men to watch two men kiss. Nature makes it this way.
Women hold the beauty in the species. So it does not hold the same degree of revulsion.

If you watch a ballet, figure skating, ballroom dancing the eyes of the audience is always on the women. Both men and women watch the women as the main focus of concentration.

They are programmed to respond in that manner, so best just to pass those kinds of comments by.

Studies have shown that most heterosexual men show the same level of stress seeing public displays of affection between two men, as they do when seeing maggots and rotting flesh.
But, researchers couldn't tell why.

"It could mean that they had an anxiety response to the male couples kissing and a disgust response to the disgusting images, but that physiologically, there was no distinction between these two emotions.”
They did conclude that individuals who are more easily disgusted are also more likely to make unfavorable moral judgments about gay people.
You may have noted, mant folks, particularly far right people, express a visceral hatred towards gays/trans that goes far beyond the anxiety noted in these studies.
Why?
Or, better yet, how did they come by this visceral hatred of gays/trans and belief that gays are perverted?
This question is directed at those why believe homosexuality is perverted.
How did they come by that belief?

The first step in recovery is recognizing there's a problem.
I'm merely offering an avenue towards that recognition.
I do realize that most of these "strong willed" folk will choose to remain in their own sick.

Which principles don't we understand?
 
If you're open to discriminating against one group, you're generally open to discriminating against others. Look for patterns when you deal with people. People are left or right not because of groupthink, but because those who share common values tend to think alike -- or at least have their opinions based on certain foundational values. Ask Gardener about his views on Gaza.

I call bullshit. Show the study and I will rip it to shreds.

Sounds like one of those studies where they set out to get a result.

The quoted only plays a roll.
