If Trump manages to be the Republican nominee in 2024, will you vote for him?

I voted no, because while I voted for him twice, I Think his return to office in 2024 would harm the country.
I always said Trump was like Machiavelli's Prince, useful when his goals align with the nations.
I think that would not be the case if he returned to office at this point, he would be angry and verdictive.

Of course not
so far he was easily the worse, most dishonest and most divisive president of my lifetime (Reagan till now)
We will be recovering from the damage he did to our country and our democracy for quite a while.
SOME think we may never recover but I'm more optimistic than that.

No.
If I don't like any of the other candidates, I may do a first and not make a selection on my ballot for President.

IMO you should always vote for somebody even if its a write-in, that's what I did last 2 elections . . just to have a third option recorded🤷‍♂️

Never got past his casino bust-outs, so that's a pretty solid no.

But I also won't vote for Biden ever, either. Not that that matters in California.

Your right. Doing a write in is basically throwing the vote away.

Last election, I did not fill out (vote) for the judges. The choice was basically to retain or not retain.

Yes, absolutely. Depending on who is in the primary, it's highly unlikely Trump will get my primary vote but, should he be the GOP nominee, I'd absolutely vote for him in the general. Against Joe or Kamala or Pete and more of what we have going on right now within the US and with foreign policy? God yes, I'd vote for Trump. Under no circumstances, would I opt to not place a vote for one of the two general election candidates (the two with a chance to win). In other words, I would not skip the presidential category or vote third party - unless a third-party candidate had an actual chance. I don't expect that will ever happen in my lifetime - but maybe someday.

I can't see any other candidates being as bad for our country as Trump when it comes to President, so I would vote for pretty much (there could be some exceptions, but not likely from the Democrats) anyone else that had the highest chance of beating him, winning, particularly in my state. There is just no way I would not vote against Trump.

I don't think most elections are really that important, even if I disagree with some things that both support, because, in the past, the candidates (for President) could be viewed as reasonable and/or at least limited in the power they had because they were fairly reasonable people (this is based on my own experience and view of those who have been in office since I have been old enough to make evaluations). I cannot say that about Trump. He should not be given power again.

Now, there are a few more politicians who have come up since Trump who I actually feel the same about, most of which are Republicans (DeSantis, MTG, Boebert, Hawthorne, and several others). But I don't see them having the same level of influence as Trump. I'd still vote against them though, even if I had some major disagreements policy wise with the Dem candidate.

Granted, my state is, can be a swing state.

I've done the same with judges. If I don't know enough about a vote and can't find adequate info despite a pretty good search, I'll skip a judge vote. It's important to me to always understand what I'm voting for.

There is not enough lead paint left in the world for me to consume that would ever produce a situation in which I would vote for Trump. I am just incapable of being so heavily mentally handicapped into believing it's a good idea.

What foreign policy issues alarm you?

If we wait to 2028, you still get two Presidents for sixteen years.

Wait to 2028, he'll mellow.

unfortunatley in this country that is true but i think its the better option

I made a promise to myself in 2008 to never vote for the lesser of two evils ever again. (they dont have to be evil but i will no longer vote for one of two just because)
That was the last time I felt the two candidates were both good "people" and while of course i didnt agree with them i would have been OK with them as a LEADER

in 2016 i voted other, and i have to be honest, like millions of Americans i do have regrets about it BUT i kept my integrity and my promise to myself
in 2020 i voted other, THAT was really hard and i was worried i would regret it again and then i could never continue to do what i promised . . but thank god it worked out and I again kept my promises and integrity and Donnie lost big time

Before Donnie i had hopes that maybe MAYBE in my lifetime the two party system would lose its strong hold on america but now im not so sure .. i think all he did is give the pendulum of politics a big kick and now its swinging more than ever
