Easily. Corporate malfeasance is almost always profit driven. Look at Boeing. This is why regulations are important. We know if left to their own devices, corp america would kill a good percentage of us.

Whatever Stalin and Hitler were, they were on opposite sides in WWII. Fascism is a far right concept. Socialism is far left. Please consult a dictionary and learn.

Well, I'm an ancap, therefore I should have a lot in common with Hitler and Mussolini, since we are all next to each other on the far right.

Why don't you list some political beliefs that a person like me would share in common with Hitler or Mussolini.

Me thinks someone is confusing the term dictator with authoritarian. You don't have to have total control of the government, and more specifically voting, to be authoritarian.

Here are some of Hitler's political views:

1) Racial supremacy. Hitler believed in the superiority of the so-called "Aryan" race. Argued that history is a struggle between races, not classes.

2) Antisemitism. Wanted to remove Jews from german society and kill them all.

3) Nationalism. The interests of the reich come first.

4) Militarism. Hitler luved war and the military, and strongly believed in conscription.

5) Collectivism. Hitler was a rabid collectivist, who hated individualism.

6) Totalitarianism. Hitler wanted a one-party state led by a fuhrer with absolute authority. Believed the state should control all aspects of life: media, education, economy, culture - everything.

7) State-controlled economy. No property rights. Do what you're told or end up in a concentration camp.

8) Eugenics. Hitler supported forced sterilization for the mentally ill and disabled. He sought to engineer a racially pure population.

Certainly after June 1941, they became sworn deadly enemies.
Both countries benefited from the German-Soviet pact of 1939 until Hitler felt he was ready to invade Russian
And I still love that Communist Russia killed more German soldiers that we could ever have hoped to killed. Saved hundreds of thousands of American soldiers.

In the 21st century USA and with the factor of Trump and His Cult the definitive reference is 20th century mainly European fascism. And South American fascism to include fascism historically in Central America where in each geographic instance there is the congressional system and three branches of government framework we in the USA initiated. Europe and the Americas are the two major regions the long train of immigrants have historically come from so fascisms in these two regions are our reference point.

Your post is absurd, to deride history per se when the history being examined is fascism in Europe and the Americas south of the US border. Indeed your post is inattentive or dismissive of the fact of an identifiable and definitive 21st Century Uniquely American Fascism led by Trump and his Fascist Cult.

We are living already in the post Constitutional USA. The congress is neutered and the Supreme MAGA Court has gone over to the Dark Side. The presidency has become what Trump says it is and whatever Trumph does with it. The Rule of Law is on its deathbed. America is well into the preliminary stages of forming an Orban fascist state. Your unfortunately smug post is oblivious to the whole of this.
 

I am on record in this Forum as agreeing with your viewpoint. Communism, Fascism, and Nazism are all forms of extreme Leftist Socialism. The primary difference is supposed to be in the assertion that Fascism and Nazism are "strong man" forms with some "free enterprise," while Communism is a society supposedly run by a committee of the best and brightest. Yet in almost every socialist society above the level of small communes, the Communist governments have always been led by a "strong man" too (Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc.).

In no case, whether extreme Left or Right, is there even a shadow of individual freedom.

I modified slightly.....





What I like about the circle is that it better shows the relationship, especially between the extreme left and extreme right, who tend to think of themselves as opposites, when in fact they are much closer than either would want to admit.

That said, it's important to understand that this chart is my opinion about where these groups tend to find themselves in the real world rather than how each group might see themselves in theory.
