What I fear is the libbos are forgetting that, Trump NEEDS to win the primary in order for Biden to win re-election. Instead of poo-poo'ing Trump, you guys should be shouting MAGA! MAGA! Loser Trump is who you want Biden to run against.

President Biden is our best choice. He is electable. He has the experience. He is the only one who already knows the job and will do his best for America. Trump held the job but he never really did it for America. He did it for himself. All the others are not as qualified as Biden. He has done the job and done it well. It is not an exciting job. It is not a job of 'making America great again.' It is doing the tough job of making the difficult decisions which may not be popular, but are the best choices for the whole country.

There are no guarantees that voters will be guided by sanity and reason, nor that they will prefer Biden over Trump.

And if it turns out that Trump is eliminated in the primaries, and another Republican goes up against Biden, let the best candidate win. Generally, if the incumbent has not messed up badly, and the economy is doing well, the incumbent wins.

The future of America is about more than who wins in 24. The Republican Party turning away from Trump would improve America more than having them stick with an abominable candidate and keeping America so bitterly divided.

As to your question, the answer is yes, absolutely. Common decency, yes. Knowledge, yes. Education, yes. Common sense, yes. All of those can be found on the right. American politics is way more complicated than we/they. Things are not so simple as we, the good guys and they, the bad guys. We smart, they stupid. That's overly shallow, not representative of reality.

The world is more complex than that. Part of the problem with politics is attention span. Politicians often only get just a soundbyte. They often appeal to the least common denominator with emotionally loaded terms. Oversimplified simplistic terms do not accurately depict reality. Our best government policy would be the result of well considered proposals made in a positive way by an actively engaged populace. Culture wars ain't that.

Communist China only allows limited private ownership because of the protests in the late 80s. Tiananmen Square protests caused a lot of change in the nation.

Take an economics course. Wait, what am I thinking. A person like you hates education.

I had to take those economics courses for my degree in accounting.
