Hello? I am supposed to take you seriously? Get out much? Do they pipeline TV to wherever you live? Barry only produced his CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH, until yesterday.

Wrong. Obama produced his birth certificate in the 08 campaign. As a matter of fact, one of the most common birther claims was that it wasn't a "birth certificate" because it's entitled "Certificate of Live Birth" at the top of the document.

Duh.........that's what we've been complaining about? Yesterday he produced the LONG FORM, e.g., the real thing.

1. The "short form" he produced in 08 was already "the real thing."
2. You claimed that Obama had been "retaining" his long form. That is patently false, because he did not have one (nor do you, I would wager).

But then again, you're hooked on NOTHING. You're a Barry fan.

Actually, I don't like Obama. I didn't vote for him, and I'm very much hoping for a quality candidate to be presented by the GOP who can unseat Obama. I just happen to focus on criticizing the man on his policies, instead of inventing lies. I'm not a partisan hack, and I will call out any dishonest argument or false claim, no matter what my own personal position on the subject.

Barry is running like a scalded-arsed dog. He fiendishly retained his certificate, expecting the Right to self-destruct over the issue, eventually. He didn't anticipate Trump. He didn't know whether to defecate or go blind when The Donald struck from out of the blue. Panic-stricken, Barry crapped down his right pantleg, and caughed up the document. Ha, ha.....:rock:surrender:2rofll:

When I watched the press conference, I thought that Obama exuded more of a "Why am I here?" vibe than an, "OH ****!" one. Obama has three wars, an economic crisis, a soaring deficit, and a Republican controlled House to deal with, but first he has to hold a press conference in a vain attempt to appease people who's theories make Truthers look like geniuses. It won't do much, because the original birth certificate, Hawaiian officials, the FBI vetting process, and McCain and Hillary not using this to their advantage in '08 have not convinced them that a man with a funny-sounding name was born in America. Trump is a pompous attention-whore who is more interested in publicity than the truth.

I am no fan of Obama, but I think that Birtherism does a great deal of harm to the Tea Party and the small government movement in general, creating an image to the media and the public that we are all crazy. Call me cynical, but I think that this was at least one small reason why it took him this long to release his (non-legally required, long-form) birth certificate. However, the considerable legal fees, continued nuisance, and Trump screaming, "Where's the birth certificate!?" finally caught up to him. Again, I am not a fan of Obama, but using every attack you can against him, ridiculous or not, discredits your criticisms and the criticisms of those who generally agree with you on the issues, as a whole.

Actually, what he produced yesterday is also titled "Certificate of Live Birth," because apparently that's what they're called in Hawaii. Did you look at it?

So if a "Certificate of Live Birth" isn't enough, we might as well amend the Constitution to read "You can't be President if you were born in Hawaii." Which you might support, until a Republican from Hawaii wants to run.
