The average cost of electric cars in the USA is $55,242 compared to $34,400 in China. While also 97 % of Chinese respondents said their next vehicle purchase is likely to be an EV, compared to 35% in the US and 43% in Europe.


There you now are also starting to see very cheap Chinese electric cars.

I don't have a 240 connection at the house, that could be really expensive given how jurassic my electrical box is, and fishing a line into the carport......
