These assholes are fulfilling some sick twisted fantasy that they have by sending “ICE agents” into neighborhoods like this.

It’s uncalled for and unnecessary.

If you have warrants, go in and arrest the people you have warrants for. Wear regular uniforms. Wear badges with your names. Show your face. Do your job respectfully and with dignity.

This bullshit? It’s performative nonsense meant to get a reaction and cause violence

Shame on the government for acting in this manner.

Disgusting. Unnecessary. Ridiculous.

And shame on anyone cheering this on or that thinks this is appropriate.

As has been pointed out, ICE is only enforcing existing federal immigration laws.

The people who are putting others at risk of getting killed are the ones who are leaking the planned ICE enforcement operations (putting federal officers at risk), as well as those who are doxxing those federal agents, and also those who then show up at these enforcement operations to demonstrate and protest, at risk of causing a confrontation which escalates into something no sane person would want to have happen - yet it will - eventually.

The U.S. Constitution addresses the suspension of habeas corpus in Article I, Section 9, Clause 2. It states:
"The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

We have been invaded. If Lincoln can suspend Habeas Corpus then so can President Trump

Lincoln was prosecuting a civil war to preserve the Union. Trump isn't dealing with an emergency, except the one in his mind.

This type of post is completely lacking any cogent reasoning or thought process, not to mention any grounding whatsoever in what is/isn’t Constitutional powers of a POTUS.

Trump is not some king that can just arbitrarily decide to shut off federal funding to a state.

How do you “dox” federal agents when they are supposed to be wearing badges that identify them in the first place?

ALL officers - unless they are working under cover - are supposed to wear badges and produce identification.

Period.

From your local cops to all federal agents.
 
not arbitrary -targeted withholding.. then the cities can sue the federal government and the courts can rule on Constituionality
Coming from someone who things ICE agents wearing makes is Gestapo, it's more hyperblabbing

Or we can continue going in an having violent reactions. Myself I'd rather go after sanctuary cities as a source for this, and try to get their minds right
 
I think it's fair to say this is the biggest political crisis this country has had since at least the late 1960s and early 1970s. I suspect we're going to race past that post and find analogs further back in our history, and we may eventually run out of analogs. I don't recognize the country I've lived in for 51 years.
