Good job Vets and active duty military members who voted for Trump.
There’s a difference. It should not be so difficult to put in place a sane and humane immigration policy. MAGA is ****ing this up just as badly as Biden did.
Part of the plan is to run a GOP candidate next election that promises to review and reverse many of the things that tRump has done but then not follow up on that promise. Instead they will focus on limiting voting access to millions. This entire deportation thing is not going well for Trump politically. I read an article today that the plans for deportations will escalate soon and that ALL persons who entered illegally, no matter when they entered, no matter how long they have been here or no matter what status they currently have (such as asylum) will be eligible for deportment including Cubans. Haitians and Venezuelans there on humanitarian grounds.
The GOP better wake up to the fact that although the base is fully supportive they can't win with just the base. Poll after poll is showing Independents and even moderate Republicans growing displeasure with issue after issue including immigration. recent polling shows Trump underwater in every single category including the supposed Big Beautiful Bill.

So he was a vet with PTSD that turned into a drug problem. All the more reason for him to be a target. (that's sarcasm)I sympathize with what he has gone through however when you just post tidbits from social media, you are not telling the entire story. He does have a criminal record.
“Drugs had a big control throughout my life and that’s what eventually got me into trouble with the law and everything,” Park said.
In 2009, he was convicted of drug and bail offenses and served two and a half years in prison. When he was released, ICE agents detained him and revoked his green card."
He self-deported. That may at some point give him the chance to come back and remain legally

I don't think that would work. Not a chance in hell, as we sit here today, Trump would allow anything bad to be said about his regime. That can only happen if in fact he does implode.Part of the plan is to run a GOP candidate next election that promises to review and reverse many of the things that tRump has done but then not follow up on that promise. Again, I sympathize, however that does not give him a pass on having a criminal record and serving time in prison. I personally know a former work colleague, a Marine vet who came back from Iraq missing an arm, who dealt with significant PTSD. He got the help and prescribed medication he needed and is now thriving. He did not go the addiction route or end up in prison. So he was a vet with PTSD that turned into a drug problem. Personal anecdotes are not a compelling rebuttal.Again, I sympathize, however that does not give him a pass on having a criminal record and serving time in prison. Criminal activity is never a wise choice.Personal anecdotes are not a compelling rebuttal.
Just wait until the South has hurricane seasonS and no FEMA.This entire deportation thing is not going well for Trump politically. Well, had you actually watched the video, what you call the tidbit, from the social media that I posted you would have seen his story as he battled addiction and then straightened his life out. Much of it from PTSD from fighting for us.I sympathize with what he has gone through however when you just post tidbits from social media, you are not telling the entire story. He does have a criminal record.

The military provides a lot more support for people coming from Iraq and Afghanistan than they did for earlier wars.Again, I sympathize, however that does not give him a pass on having a criminal record and serving time in prison. Her point is the guy who got out of serving over and over is the president and the guy who took bullets for us has to get the hell out of the country.Yet nowhere on Mrs. Betty Bowers bluesky page is any links or posts about actions she is taking. No petitions but sure a lot of bitching. I don't always like to judge but she seems like a poser who'd turn up her nose if an actual illegal immigrant family moved in next to her. Probably just likes to makes posts like this for social media attention - and here I am contributing to that. *sigh*
And yes, our government does suck for deporting a vet.
