I think Obama really needs to address issues like this

Why should he? AA got him into the White House... well the mentality did.

That's as stupid as saying nepotism got Bush into the White House.

Obama didn't run a blacker campaign. He ran a better one.

Yeah, white guilt had nothing to do with it. Asking a Democrat to move to end AA is just... silly.

Bush shame had more to do with it than anything.

No, 365 electoral votes got him into the White House.

Affirmative action is pertinent when talking about a middle-class job. Americans would hopefully look for qualities in their president besides an abundance of skin pigment. Obama won because his campaign had more appeal than the McCain/Palin ticket - not because of AA.

I have to agree Obama had the better populist propaganda.

McCain was limp as all get out.

You're so sore about your boys losing the white-house. Maybe you should have moved to Canada it seems that the current administration is a deep hatred of yours.

I'm not sore, I never LIKED McCain, like Palin yes, McCain.. no. I didn't even send money to the RNC last year after McCain got the nomination, hell I sent them a nasty gram.

And besides, I was making a bit of a joke there, albeit one with a point.

So you wanted Obama to win over McCain?

Now there's a conclusion we can draw from my statement...

Does your mind really fail to grasp what I said? I DID NOT and DO NOT like McCain. However, I distrust Obama even more.

I've come to the silver lining conclusion that Obama is good for one thing, showing the Right, and the country how following the liberal path is a path of failure. Hopefully we'll see a resurgence of conservative, not Republican, not Bushism... CONSERVATIVE principled leadership and go from there.

I voted for McCain, but knew with almost complete certainty that Obama would win. The public is tired of business as usual, and the GOP still has not realized that...even after having been given a power wedgie...

I think what we really need is a new conservative movement that is ready to deal with the problems of today rather than rant and rave about the problems of 70 or so years ago. If only the republicans would ditch "social conservatism" and "fiscal conservatism" and create a party that is competitive in the 21st century. Getting rid of DOE and complete deregulation isn't an acceptable platform for most of America. Unfortunately we'll have to deal with having the Democrats in complete control until the Republicans shape up or make room for a useful party.

my favorite part of the video is 0:59-1:08.

You know what. You are absolutely correct. Following the liberal path has left us totally in the dark. I mean blacks are still slaves. Women have no right to vote. Its quite sad how conservatives like to pick and choose which pieces of liberalism they will trust, but then scream at how much liberalism is ruining, or going to ruin, their country. Don't think that a free market was the creation of a classical conservative.

Yeah, your guy gave a prayer straight from the 1960's... whose stuck in the past again?

Oh boy, here comes the lame liberal canard on race, slavery and womens rights.

Afirmative action now tends to benefit middle/upper middle class people not the targets it was a orginally suppose to benefit.

Proof? Please. Please I beg you to bring up this proof just so I can intellectually rape you like a pitbull with lipstick on.

Are you ACTUALLY claiming that the KFC vouchers that were mailed out and his pledge to create a $2,000 tax credit for rims had nothing to do with Obama's victory?

KFC VOUCHER wtf Obama. I totally voted for you and I didn't get one?

Here it does come, and you can't stop it buddy. That's the problem. Instead of admitting to the importance of Liberalism in America's history you roll your eyes. Almost seems like you'd rather not have womens rights, and still have slaves.

Jokes should be funny. While most of your posts amuse me, I would guess it is not in the way you intended.

Sorry but I must disagree, I am a Democrat but I don't believe in affirmitive action. Just because you have a certain party affiliation doesn't mean you must agree with every common stance on an issue. I think affirmitive action gives minorities an unfair advantage when getting into college and maybe even a job. Just because someone is African American they shouldn't get into college over a more worthy caucasion canidate. One might say that affirmitive action is right because you could say caucasions have a better chance of getting into ivy league schools since having parents that went to say Harvard give you a better chance to get into Harvard and in the old days mostly caucasion people went to Harvard. (This is just an example, not an accusation of any sort) However, I feel that is a seperate issue that needs to be dealt with and it shouldn't effect other policies.

Sorry sir but rudeness is not necessary. You are making an accusation based on an overblown generalization against one particular person you have never met. I am a fellow Democrat but I will not stand for someone damaging the reputation of any party when they are not taking a stance on as issue. The last statement was totally out of line. However, I do know how you feel but I think instead of making yourself look bad and your party I think you should use facts and prove Republicans are not in favor of what you mentioned and make them look bad.

Good day
