I will say that I've found as a poster that if there's an in thread, saying "you" can rapidly lead to danger like toasting a cop with your bud light at a sobriety checkpoint.
 
Neolibs will never quit neoliberalism. They are the biggest obstacle, since they serve as the main defense against the left, always blocking for the right-wing.
 
Can't answer the poll question because it seems to only address choices for the left. There are those here that are not left. Some are independent, some are old school Republicans, some are Trump supporters.

I'm a flip flopper (didn't see that as an option) - pretty much middle of the road with a few strong liberal beliefs and a few strong conservative beliefs. Depends souly on the candidate not the party and when in doubt I fall back on where I stand on certain social or economic issues.

Bullseye got mad at me last week because my profile says I am a Moderate. This was in response to my comments in a thread about Trump demanding a military parade for himself. Apparently, you can't be a moderate and also find fascistic/dictatorial displays to be disgusting.

Republicans have basically become far-right wing authoritarians/fascists. Sad to see.

This is just central-planning 101. It's the basics to cementing a system like that of China. Dear Leader with absolute power, Single Party control of everything, and forced adherence to Party.

Like, if I’m into minimalist welfare system and protecting the rights of capital owners, and not worshipping orange demigods, do I just spin a wheel of socialism and pick a label? Democratic tofuist? Moderate Right, the President of the United States of America is now suggesting that we send U.S. citizens to prisons in El Salvador. The President is also now disobeying a direct order to return Abrego Garcia home after the government refused to respect Garcia's due process rights.

I am a former Republican. My parents taught me about the Constitution and the Rule of Law. I am pro-business.

Nothing that's happening right now is normal.

And if anyone supports this crap, there is something wrong with them, not me.

This one time, my buddy and I were looking for a venue to drop our demo tape off at, and I turned the wrong way down a one way street. I immediately got pulled over, and I was so flustered that I handed the cop all of the money in my wallet instead of my license. Luckily, he just started laughing, and I apologized for the mistake. Looking back on it, I see how badly that could have turned out.
