I dont think Trump likes Zelensky very much LOL

I just read Trump's June 4th post on X. It must have gone down with the Green Goblin like a jug of rotting grape juice. No acknowledgement. No Kudos! Nothing! After a coup de main that, at the very least, the Green Goblin expected to elevate him to the level of the best of special operations: the Israelis, nothing from the greatest man in the world. Nothing from the only man who really matters. That disastrous clash at the Oval Office appears to be still exacting its revenge on the unfortunate Green Goblin.

Trump's post makes for a fascinating read. He had a conversation with Putin. In a matter of fact narrative. Suggesting it was calm, almost amicable, as in a chat between old acquaintances totally in synch; each instinctively knowing what the other is going through and vice versa. That has to eat the Green Goblin's craw. Trump was supposed to be placing a call to him, the Great Zelensky. After that a big conference call with Trump, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: punched up Macron, Sir Starmer, Dracula Merz, and doubting Duda; chaired by the Great Green Goblin.

Trump thought it was a good conversation! Again that has to eat the Green Goblin's craw. Why is Trump having good conversations with Putin? The Green Goblin has to be screaming. Why did the most powerful President on earth not request from him, Zelensky, a draft script of the Riot Act he would have ordered read to Putin?

And it was not a conversation that will lead to peace, said Trump. Not even the 30 day unconditional ceasefire the Green Goblin has been bothering everyone with. One is left with the impression Trump's interest in the conversation was more to get the feel of Putin, you know, make sure he was cool and calm, not about to engage in unrestrained arson like Zelensky. He, in all probability, found Putin calm and composed. The reason why it was a good conversation.

Oh, and Putin did say strongly that he will have to respond to Zelensky's tantrums. Trump's post does not suggest he raised any objections. Nor tried to calm things. Why should he? I now believe Zelensky's was a solo act. If he was not part of the plot, he will not be part of the play. The Green Goblin and the Four Horemen of the Apocalypse will have to duke it out as best as they can with the Russians.

What did you get from Trump's post?




 
What I got is that the best spin Trump could put on it, the best light he could shine on it, is weakness. Trivial. Subservient. Putin will do what Putin will do and Trump isn't a consideration.
Trump is leading America into international impotence. Irrelevance.
Putin has no reason to give any regard to the USA.

First of all, Zelensky really had no reason to slap the Bear upside the head like this. Nuclear-ready bombers are not an issue in this war.

Second, Putin HAS to respond and he will...and Zelensky won't like it. People will likely die. Totally unnecessary.

Third, If Zelensky had any intention of making people think he's interested in working out a peace deal, well...that's gone. This war is NOT going to end and Ukraine will suffer greatly because of Zelensky's ill-advised action.

And finally, from the US...and Trump's...point of view, the nature of this attack only means that the US MUST take steps to prevent some other idiots from mounting a similar attack in the US. Zelensky has shown the world how easy it is. That has to royally chap Trump's ass. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump pulls EVERYTHING the US owns out of Ukraine...and that includes all of the CIA assets, both material and human.

Speaking of the CIA, it is highly unlikely that Zelensky was able to pull this sneak attack off without the help of the CIA. The fact that the CIA didn't notify Trump of this operation provides undeniable proof that THEY are working against the President. Trump will HAVE to take swift and severe action against the CIA.

I think Trump and Putin came to an agreement: Trump doesn't take steps against Putin when he severely bitch-slaps Zelensky and Putin will help, if he can, with Trump's efforts to hobble Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Putin has seen conservatives do all their tricks, and he knows how to control them. The KGB and it's successors did not vet Putin enough ideologically before training him.

Trump is rich, but sheltered.

Trump will give boots on the ground to help Putin with his war crimes. Mark my words. If India stays neutral instead of protecting Ukraine from Putin and Trump, Putin will turn against Trump and Musk. Then even NATO will cut its losses as we get our noses bloodied at the least.

Each day Trump is showing the American people and the world just how weak he is in foreign affairs and deal making. The man is incredibly weak and I'm not sure why Trumpers can't see that. Yes he is a tough guy domestically where he can bully, coerce and use his incredible powers to force his will on people but that is not a sign of strength , it is really a sign of weakness. Without those extraordinary powers he could accomplish nothing. The deal making myth is the most obvious fallacy. I worry his weakness in foreign affairs will end up putting the US and the world in a very dangerous place. Maybe he could start with getting rid of his pal Witkoff, who clearly should stick with real estate deals, and put somebody in place with actual foreign affairs and diplomatic credentials.

The US being at peace would be refreshing wouldn't it? That's what actual real diplomats would do.

Trump has walked away from Ukraine with his tail between his legs.

He has no influence over Putin and would rather see Ukraine fall than clash with his BFF Putin.

The fact the aircraft were capable of carrying nuclear weapons is irrelevant, they were being used to strike Ukraine with conventional weapons. Weakening the military capabilities of an enemy invading your country seems like a very good reason for this strike.

Well, he doesn't have to, though he may feel politics and personal psychology pushing him to doing so (or at least seek to present that impression). It certainly doesn't have to do so in a way that leads to lots of deaths though.

Why are you only talking about Ukraine and Zelensky in that context? Putin has been continuing the conflict throughout any peace negotiations too, including ongoing strikes on Ukrainian civilian targets. Zelensky continues to call for an unconditional 30-day ceasefire that Putin has so far refused.

You just said that Ukraine has shown how easy it was but now you're suggesting it couldn't have been possible without CIA help? There is zero reason to assume Ukraine would be incapable of carrying out this kind of operation independently or that Americans alone have any kind of special abilities that are unknown anywhere else. You guys are not as unique, special or superior as you so many of you seem to imagine yourselves to be.

But Trump is too weak to end it himself, even with the powers of the POTUS. Qualitatively speaking, Trump is not much of a President.

The only way to end this war when neither side wants to end it is for the US to invade and take over both countries.
