Hunters fear 'end of firearm sales' until Oregon creates gun permit system

I was not alone by any means. Millions of children are taught about firearms and firearm safety by their parents every year. My father bought me my first firearm on my tenth birthday.

No you didn't, but I expected you to deliberately lie like a good leftist. Your ilk never disappoints because you are never honest about anything. Which is as pathetic as it comes.
in fact, I did.
My posts are the most honest here.
In fact, they are perfect.

Maybe instead of sitting in silence (how aweful) they could have been home LEARNING!

OBEY dad? Wtf? Were they in the military at home?
They WERE LEARNING . Learning responsibility..work ethic..patience..
Physical endurance.. water safety.. cold weather safety , biology..(bird identification..plant identification..animal behavior) physics ( trajectories and the basics of f=ma)
We're they in the military? No because in the military ..well you are military 24/7 with short leave time.
With hunting..they learned adult type behaviors etc a few hours every week..
And they were a kid the rest of the time.
But early on they recognized the difference.. but yeah..obeying your parents is pretty important for a kid.
Do you disagree?
Do you think a responsibility adult come from kids that never have to obey their parents?

Nope, I could not reach the peddles to drive cross country. I simply steered the truck as it was in creeper, first gear, as my uncles and the help loaded it as we moved up the fields.
Everyone was put to work.
We did not sit silently in the ****in woods waiting to murder some unsuspecting animal.
Ypu just murdered the animals you raised like pets for food?
Do the animals murdered on farms " suspect" they are being murdered?
Did you pet the chicken to calm it down before chopping its head off?
Did you scratch your pigs head so it would lift its chin before you sliced its throat and hung it by its heels?

Obey dad was not my style.
I brought my kids up to think, reason, learn consequences.
Obey? I would never stifle a child like that. I have seen the result of kids brought up by that. Not pretty.

So when your kid was running toward a busy street..and you yelled " stop".
You didn't care if they obeyed you because you didn't want to " stifle them". ?
If you told your kids to stay away from the edges of irrigation canals you didn't care if they obeyed you because you didn't want to stifle them?
If you told them " sit here and get your homework done" you were fine with them giving you the finger and walking out of tge house to drunk with their friends?

Yeah..I have treated the results of kids raised that way. Some didn't make it..
Truly not pretty.

You are against child labor?
Good for you. I think progress is being made!
I thought you were forced to work in the fields at six.
Did you turn in your parents for child abuse?

Silly post.
Teach children. That is what holds parenting success.

Everyone worked from age 5 0n. It was normal and natural.

Kids just did it by instinct? No adult directed the division of labor?

Wtf are you talking about?

Is that your standard reply when you've talked yourself into a corner?

The question was very simple. Did the 5 year old children who were naturally and normally working, do so on their own, or were their work assignments directed by adults?

The ansewer is 0bvious. My question should have been. Wtf are you asking this for?

Why should I have to?
My premise does not require justifying 7 or 10 or 33 rounds.
It relies on pointing out that there is no logical justification for such a restriction.

Yours on the other hand does..and so far you have no justification on why lursa is safe if she has 10 rounds but becomes a murdering psychopath if she has 11 rds.

Wait I never made any claim as to Lursa's character. If someone lives in a state with a mag limit they can make do with that limit that's all. If that weapon should fall into the hands of someone who is a petty criminal, or a workplace shooter, they won't have any more rounds in the gun than anyone else. I suspect the theory limiting the type sold, it helps limit teh types in circulation. Again, this is something the people of Oregon have decided, so perhaps you can take it up with them.

It's not very likely that any individual will be involved in a shooting at all.

Nevertheless, you raised it as a possibility, and five or six more rounds in a magazine is a small price to pay for mitigating the risk.

I can maybe put out most fires with a single fire extinguisher. I can never have enough to put out every fire I may encounter. It isn't hurting anything if I have two or three extinguishers though, and it increases the number of possible fire events I'm prepared for.

Maybe that's why Oregon kindly limited magazines to ten rounds and not say, three? Eventually you'd be right and a certain number would be too few for self defense. Look at the glass as half full.

I already join you in being right that 10 might not be enough.

They did try five in SB 501.

I answered. Why are you playing games?

No you didn't. You just claimed the answer was obvious.

I've seen this too, as one of your go-to tactics when you've succeeded in talking yourself into a corner.

Simple question.

Did the 5 year old children who were naturally and normally working, do so on their own, or were their work assignments directed by adults?

Your question is too asinine to ansewer.

If you can't see that, that is not on me, that is in you.

First you say you've answered, now you admit you've refused.

😆

When you turn 180, you're still in the corner.
