Huma Abedin's lawyers are set to meet with the Justice Department and FBI to discuss the emails found on her sexting husband Anthony Weiner's laptop - two days after the FBI dramatically announced it had reopened the investigation into Hillary's handling of classified material.
Questions are mounting over right-hand woman Abedin's future on the Clinton campaign as she remains in New York today while her boss campaigns in Florida.
She has reportedly pleaded ignorance about how the emails ended up on her husband Weiner's laptop – and were subsequently found by FBI agents after DailyMail.com exposed him sexting a 15-year-old girl.
The scandal leaves the Clinton campaign facing disaster after FBI director James Comey announced their discovery had led him to reopen the investigation into Clinton with 11 days until the election.

well remember during the white water investigation of the Rose Law firm billing records where Partner Hillary Clinton said it was a SECOND YEAR associate who actually sent out the bills etc? Now I don't know who else is on this board who actually worked at a fairly sizable (30-40 or more attorneys) but to think a SECOND YEAR associate would send out billing statements to a big client without the supervising PARTNER seeing them is beyond incomprehensible

I've just searched my History, but can't find--yet--what I read this weekend about Huma's being shrewd to have asked for a copy of Obama e-mails as leverage. Will keep looking as time permits.

Hillary will let her burn if it gets Hillary out of trouble. She has done it before decades ago to another sucker and she will do again here if it looks like it is best for her.

Exactly. Hillary doesn't protect people. She has no history of it and it's not in her to give a **** about anyone but her.

She is not likely to go after huma, since she is going out f her way to avoid incriminating hillary, and likely rehearsed such a scenario, anthony weiner on the other hand, may be very well in her sights.

What is going to get Clinton in trouble is if they find classified emails on this laptop.
Then she sent classified data to someone that was not allowed to view it.

Sure huma might protect her and people do have a history of doing that for Hillary, but Hillary has no such history and she will not do squat for Huma. I don't think it even begins to matter to Hillary who has her back in the end.

If it turns out Wiener damages Clinton's campaign or has the ability to, we can expect him to shoot himself in the back of the head a few times before anything major comes to light.

One thing keeps bugging me. What the hell is Huma who works for and with the Secretary of State doing sharing a laptop. Especially after it becomes well known that Carlos is using said laptop for other than official purposes. Are the Weiner Abedins so broke that they cannot afford a $300 laptop for A Weiner to conduct his sexual peccadillos. Even so, I'd bet Huma, like Hillary possessed a government issue secure laptop. is an assumption

Assuming, and at this point it is an assumption, that both Hillary and Huma were using other than issued laptops for their official business and that the weiner therefore had access to government business emails.

We're left with three possible conclusions. Hillary and her staff are the most incompetent people alive when it comes to handling classified information, or the most corrupt, or both.

Considering that the President cannot do the job without the highest clearance, I do not see how she can be expected to perform the duties.

Problem is huma probably has more dirt on hillary then the russians and wikileaks could ever dream of, hillary would not try to backstab her closest aid unless she betrayed clinton, too much to lose not enough to gain.

If I was huma I would start to consider giving dirt on Hillary in a deal. Chances are she broke the law and chances are the evidence is on that computer, so perhaps she can get less time if she gives them Hillary.

Given how much power hillary has, and how close huma was to hillary, ratting someone out may not be n her best interests, while playing dumb might be.

Given all the rumors of people opposing hillary mysteriosly dying, why would someone risk ratting her out unless the fbi had a deal to fake their death and give them a new identity in rural alaska somewhere.

It's my belief that that is exactly what the FBI discovered.

True, but Hillary could have someone killed either way if that was the case. Maybe she fears they will rat on her later and she has them killed in prison. I honestly don't think if that is the case that you have much to lose.

Classified is bad, but even normal non-personal State business was supposed to be turned over.
So...
This may go beyond "extremely careless" into intentionally withholding/Obstruction.

Not even the FBI know as they did not have a warrant.
