Posted in someone else's intro thread, so felt obliged to put my own in.

Allow me to say this much, I bet I have an opinion in my bag that I can defend well, and that you will hate, regardless of where you lie on the political spectrum. Perhaps my view, of a good set of views, is having a truth to offend every taste.

I think I would rather engage in some of the threads, and offend in context, rather than make a sweeping provocative declaration

You said that you had an opinion that people will hate. Most people hate racism. Someone raised the issue of whether you were a racist, and you did not deny it. I think it's reasonable for someone to deduce that you are a racist (not that you are), but a rational person could made that inference. That is not indicative of shallow thinking.
