Biden wanted to pass laws using Congress instead of writing EOs. EOs used to be terrible, unconstitutional (according to the right). Now EOs are the only way to go.
Bottom line is Trump makes these promises, his dopey cult believe him. Since he ran on these campaign promises, I am holding him to his promises.
Remember when he said he would get Zelenskyy and Putin in a room and not let them out until they negotiated a peace deal? Or when he bragged that he would end the conflict before his inauguration? Yeah, that hasn't happened.
Remember when Trump said Hillary would be arrested on Day One and the dopey cult all got massive erections and chanted "Lock her up!" thinking she would be? That never happened.
Maybe the sexual abuser shouldn't make these promises that always have to be Trumpsplained.
 

Please share the links that lead you to believe the impact will only be 3% increase due to tariffs.
 

If the US goes to war with China, then we'd have to find some other supplier of goods. We could turn to friendlier countries like Mexic-oh wait, they've been hit with tariffs as well.

I firmly believe in letting the market decide where we get our goods and services from, and letting the market adapt to difficult conditions. Trade with China is currently a win-win comparatively, otherwise it wouldn't be happening, and a disruption in trade would hurt both parties.

More economic integration is good for peace, however, at this point, I agree we'll have to "de-risk" to an extent when it comes to select, sensitive components. Tariffing our friends and neighbors is not a reasonable way to deal with this, however.

It is kind of interesting the things they pick to be upset about.
There's some value in engaging with them I don't think you're ever going to convince someone who's very adamant about supporting their party and that shouldn't be the interest in engaging on such platform. One of the reasons I engage with people I disagree with is to determine if I'm right. They may question you in a way that you're not questioned but people you agree with. And it makes me think about it and I like this because it's kind of a challenge to my viewpoint. And I can address the challenge and decide if my viewpoint is wrong or if there's more to it so it's a good thing to expand your own viewpoint on and also there's a lot of people that watch and read and don't interact. This could be bots these could be information gathering so arguing is putting the information out there.

More tariffs they were already doing it before all countries were doing it to us so there was never any free trade it was always trade war with us and we just let it happen now we're stopping it.

You really ought to look in the mirror my friend. Republicans screamed we couldn’t afford Foreign Aide as we had to take care of people here. Then as soon as the Foreign Aide was cut off, they started cutting to SNAP and Medicaid. You know, the programs that help people here. I don’t see any Republicans screaming hey, stop that, we have to take care of people here. Do you?

But you whine over three percent. I’m one of those Democrats and Liberals who wants the Tariffs. Not because it will level anything. It won’t. It will shift our friends into being merely acquaintances. Canada is already making deals to sell their Oil to other countries. They’re already preparing what it will need to cancel about 62 F-35 Fighters from Lockheed. Portugal is already canceling their order.

But hey, a little pain for someone else is what the Republicans are willing to pay for long term gain. As long as they don’t have to deal with the pain personally, they’re happy to pay that price.

Trump is at times an asshole. Other times he is the nicest guy in the world. I don’t like it either. What I like even less is being called names, like dumb or brainwashed for example, by people who are dumb and brainwashed.

Like being scolded for watching FOX news by someone whose news hid the story in question from them in an effort to protect the Democrat politician. Can’t tell you how many times these folks had zero knowledge of what I was asserting. Even worse they had been so conditioned to the contrary that they believed I was lying and demanded proof. Once I provided the proof it was back to the typical name calling and ignoring.

Gone are the days of open and vigorous CLEAN debate. Perhaps one day the mods will step in and clean things up.

In a Georgia Court it was proven that Dominion voting machines could be made to switch votes. It was also proved that the machines had a master key that would allow the key holder to do all manner of things to vote totals. There was no security parameters for these master keys. So much of what Fox News reported was ultimately confirmed in that Georgia court room.

How else could Biden get 81,000,000 votes. More votes than Barack Obama the most popular Democrat president in my lifetime lol. As I've said numerous times, there are things about Trump I like, and things I don't like. I don't trust people who think the sun always shines out of his arse.
