How Trump Deflected Demands for Documents, Enmeshing Aides

So then there's really only one story, from the NYT. And it's more 'Trump asked a question' to some aids - per anonymous sources that may be the aides... or someone secondhand.

If he asked a question, and didn't do anything, then what would be the crime?

IMHO - there are way too many of these 'undisclosed sources reported Trump asked about X' . That's not even news. We want a president to ask questions - including about what's feasible, permitted, a good idea, or legal. Asking questions and then not doing something 'slimy' is a good thing.

Except the question he asked was about trying to do a deal for exchange in return for documents he was not entitied to in the first place.

That’s like having a bank robber call the bank and offer to exchange tens for hundreds.

But if you make enough right wing noise, you can forget that trump stole the documents in the first place.

Give me his biggest whopper that caused you mental turmoil and stress.

Thats becoming your new fall back.

You’ve done it several times now.

Of course, you know that the catalog of trump lies is virtually endless. And you’ll attack every one listed, usually with a meaningless dismissal or some sort of deflection.

It’s not like you ever minded being lied to. Trump supporters never have. They can’t get enough of it. Right wing media, and talk radio taught trump that he could lie to his base with impunity and all they would do was parrot it blindly.

Which is what you’ve always done.

There are so many, starting with his baseless claim about his crowd size on inauguration.
Then there is, "the coronavirus was under control," just as it was anything but under control.
Then, he said that he didn’t know about the payment to Stormy Daniels, which of course he did because he wrote the check.
At a rally Saturday, he said he was leading Democrats by 50% and changed that mid-sentence to 60%.

The guy is a serial liar and it's disturbing that his cult can't see this.

No, I'm pointing out that the reporter you are relying on is a documented liar. Particularly when it comes to Trump.
It would appear that way if a person only believes pro trump media.

Yes. I think that CNN nerd who kept track of them listed him saying it didn't rain during his inaugural address in the top ten of his 36,876 "lies".

Those first two gave you sleepless nights? I imagine you were as devastated as when you learned Biden lied about not knowing who he worked for in Ukraine. and goit 10% of whatever Hunter took in graft.

“Borrowed a million, made a billion” comes to mind. He told that one more than once.

I don't have sleepless nights. You were asking for Trump lies. I gave them and true to form your cognitive dissonance dismissed them.
Joe Biden didn't get 10% of anything. The younger Biden didn't take graft, since he wasn't an elected official, which is a needed element for graft.

All you've got are unproven conspiracy theories running around right-wing blogs. When you've got something that's substantiated, let us know.

So, 80K a month and he knew nothing was not protection money and he didn't get that job because of Joe?

The right wing is like the fisherman's fish story -- the fish always gets bigger each time the tail is told. Likewise, Hunter's salary keeps on expanding.

Numerous media outlets have stated Hunter Biden was paid as much as $50,000 a month for his work with Burisma, but available financial records show no direct payments from the company to him.

Now, if this bothers you, does it equally bother you that Ivanka Trump & Jared Kushner Reported Earning Up to $640 Million Over Trump's term? Of course not.

That was a lie? You know this how?

Just the game I expected you to start playing! So predictable, and so disingenuous.

Donald Trump had everything handed to him. He was a front man for his daddy’s deals at first.

This lie was aimed right at trump nation, which thinks taloid billionaires and celebrity “reality” show hosts are real.

He always tried to promote the myth that he is self made. He inherited every dime, squandered all of it, and wound up being a front man for Russian money launderers.

In his wake are a mountain of unpaid bills, stiffed suppliers and subcontractors, endless litigation, bankrupcies and failures. The most recent being his presidency.

He didn’t “borrow a million” from anyone (unless Dad co-signed it). And he didn’t make a billion that he wasn’t handed.

Wall Street laughed out loud when he told that one. At that point, he had been unbankable in the US for years. He was the most famous deadbeat in New York.

I never paid much attention to anything tRump before he ran in 2015 but was aware that he was a big bloviator. Then, the first lie I actually heard him say, out loud for everyone to hear, was on the 2nd night of the new Stephen Colbert show in September 2015 (Ted Cruz was on the first night). He declared that he would not accept any campaign contributions from donors as he was so wealthy he would finance his campaign. That way he would owe no one when elected.

Lying is first, not second, nature to him. He lies even when he doesn't have anything to gain by lying. That's what sociopaths do.

Forgot that one.

He also pledged not to employ lobbyists, and then stacked his Administration with them.

So...you believe Haberman the Liar.

So it goes...

Should he believe Mycroft, the denier, instead? Would you say Haberman has told more lies than Trump? How many lies must a person tell before you no longer believe anything they say? Or, is it more about whether their lies are ones you also tell? Hmmmm...

NY Times = tabloid junk worse than the Enquirer. Use it for kitty box liner Or puppy training.

Dismissed!

Classic. Anything bad about the biggest liar in the world and the source gets attacked! Makes as much sense to cut off your balls because you don't want kids

That would be some slick shit if it weren't older than Moses. Find some new material. This shit after seven years is toally ****ing boring!

LOL!! "according to a report"

From that serial liar, Habberman.

More yummy nothingburgers for the useful idiots.

Haberman is a freaking genius. EVERYTHING she has said about Trump, from which of his cabinet members he is going to fire next to what he is going to say in his next speech, has been spot on and absolutely and weirdly uncanny on how it all comes true in very short order. It is truly scary how smart she is. And she does it all with a poker face and showing no emotion. She is like a Terminator robot.

Everyone should believe Mycroft, the truth teller.

Instead, the useful idiots believe the likes of Haberman.

Go figure.

YOU!

You are calling out someone for lying.,...
:ROFLMAO:

I have two words for that asinine bullsit: DONALD TRUMP (who actually lies in his sleep)

Give me his biggest whopper that caused you mental turmoil and stress.
Creating and perpetuating the myth that the 2020 election was stolen. It is the likely the single most damaging lie ever set forth by anyone in American history as he has convinced a large number of people of this. When you have an electorate not believing in the election results, you have eroded (in this case, seriously eroded) one of the essential tenets of a democracy.

You might ask Neil Bush about his deals. .... or Michael Reagan about his ... or Billy Carter about his ..... Presidential family members often get sweat-heart gigs because they have access at Thanksgiving. It doesn't mean any of that ever pays off... Then again, their is Jared Kushner, who clearly got a better deal (actually I can think of two incredible payoffs he received) than all of the aforementioned combined....

Bribery and extortion always bother me when done by a pedo son of the president and he gets 10% kicked back.

The dad gave them each a million. I don't know if there were terms. Is this some problem? The dad was wealthy. The Donald turned it into a billion. Is that an issue?
