RFK Jr. Warns Teenagers Now Have Less Sperm Than 65-Year-Old Men

Methinks Jr. has fantasies. 🤣

Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. warned on Thursday that teenagers now have less sperm and testosterone than 65-year-old men.
Speaking to reporters about a new deal to provide discounts for fertility drugs, President Donald Trump invited Kennedy to “come up for a second” and “say a few words.”

Jr's thinking:
When my uncle was president, the fertility rate in this country was 3.5%. Today, it is 1.6%. The replacement rate, in other words the amount of fertility that you need in order to keep your population even, is 2.1%. We are below replacement right now. That is a national security threat to our country and we know why this is happening, and President Trump is addressing the root causes through his MAHA agenda of reducing endocrine disruptors, the exposure to chemicals that decrease fertility.

Today, the average teenager in this country has 50% of the sperm count, 50% of the testosterone as a 65-year-old man. Our girls are hitting puberty six years early, and that’s bad, but also our parents aren’t having children. Parents who want to have children do not have access. I have seven children. I feel that God has blessed me with that and I can’t imagine how different my life would be if I did not have that blessing.

Yup, the solution to reduced fertility rates might be for 65 yr old men to impregnate more girls. AND to take more fertility drugs under a "new deal" that will profit who??

This moron doesn't even know where babies in the developing stages are located (he thinks it's in the placenta). And he thinks getting your foreskin clipped off causes Autism.

I think i'll pass in taking his latest factoid as "truth".

Actually, there ARE studies out there that show fertility rates are dropping. Most contribute that to environmental factors. But yeah, if someone wants more kids they can still make more kids when young enough. To suggest 65 yr olds have more sperm is just wackadoodle.
It's nothing like as dramatic as RFK believes it to be. He's the wrong side of fallacious.

Okay guys, here's the bad news... when everybody knows something about biology, they're wrong. That means that even Kennedy, like a stopped clock, can be right sometimes. Not when he champions an anti-vax movement, no, but when everybody says he's nuts, maybe.

I just worked over Perplexity.AI and while at first it toes the party line, I got it to say

So, yes, by combining the age-related decline with the recorded historical decline over decades, it is biologically plausible that modern post-pubescent males and young men have sperm counts that are approximately equal to or potentially lower than those recorded in healthy 65-year-old men in mid-20th century America.

I'll let you mull that one over a while. I don't actually believe it's purely random pollution ... rather, I suspect that in 1971 or so, under the influence of "The Population Bomb" thinking, understanding the ecology was going to shit and gone, China agreed to impose a one child policy, and the Western countries agreed to dose people with endocrine disruptors and stop enforcing their stupid laws against homosexuality. But now I'm being crazier than Kennedy. Sometimes I wonder if there's a brain eating virus responsible for our politics, but I'll leave that to some future thread.

Fertility is effected by contraceptives and abortions?

noun

the quality of being fertile; productiveness.

the ability to conceive children or young.

Using contraceptives and having abortions reduces the number of children being born, but that has NOTHING to do with fertility.

Bobby Brainworm is measuring "Fertility" by the birth rate, which is affected by contraceptives and abortion.

So, this...........
He doesn't seem to get why "fertility rates" have gone down. They went down because of more access to contraception and abortion, not because sperm counts have declined.
........wasn't YOUR comment?

People have fewer children now because THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT.

It happens globally in developed nations.

Most people do NOT want 7 kids.

Most people only want 1-2 kids *if* they want kids at all.

Are there outliers who want more? Yes. They are not the “norm”.

Also people can barely afford to survive on meager incomes to support themselves even if they WANTED kids.

These assholes want more meat for the capitalist grinder but can't even be bothered to help with cost of living, and on top of that they're xenophobic and anti-immigrant on top of everything else.

I never took anything he said as truth. Or fact. Or rational.

I we no longer produce enough of our own sperm, what are we going to drink to expel the nanobots Bill Gates has been injecting us with?
Disinfectant.

Don’t forget the anti abortion element as well.

I wonder if anybody is ever gonna make a big deal about the simple fact that our form of capitalism requires more sales to more people more times to function

But we’re already so overpopulated we’re drowning in our own filth.

So our wonderful economic system could be the death of us all.
