How many of you are cheering on MT Greene for going to see those who attaced the capital on January 6th?

It would all depend on if her motivations are genuine. Don't forget Kamala Harris started a bail fund for those who rioted across America in the mostly peaceful, deadly and criminal riots of summer 2020 where police were attacked, innocent people killed and brutalized, federal buildings attacked and burned as well as private businesses. I didn't hear anyone on the left condemning that mess or Kamala.
Politics in our country are clearly a mess and both sides share in it. It seems our politicians don't know how to stop making accusations and govern for the best of the nation. Instead they play to their base and only worry about saying whatever they must to get elected. This isn't everyone of them but I'm afraid it's most. Dividing the country over, race, income, gender, immigration status seems to be very important to some of our leaders. Common sense, protecting the nation, preserving our value system isn't high on the list with many. Some want to tear down the country and make it into some version they have dreamed up in their mind that would be better or at least different and with a different set of values than those that have made America a great nation with the most freedom of any in the world. Instead of fixing problems they are creating many more that will not help us but divide and harm us all.

Joe Biden is a very dangerous person. His spending is driving us into even greater debt, his policies divide us and strip us of our energy security. There is a reason his approval is sitting in the 30's and it's not because he's doing a good job. Inflation, rising interest rates, higher energy costs, massive illegal immigration, drugs, and growing crime are all because he has failed the nation.

No. It's stupid to glorify stupid behavior.

With that said. It doesn't mean some of those people did anything very bad. And they are victims of the politics.

The front line rioters should get a decent penalty. But the majority who simply walked in after the breach to protest/ demonstrate did nothing wrong enough to be in jail.

Also, suspect those officer Injuries are padded for politics as well.
Most of them were probably I Jared by accident during the I itial rush, fell down, that sort of thing.

I would bet money no where near 100 officers were directly assaulted. But whoever directly assaulted s police officer should get a hard hard penalty.

Then why did so many democrats in Congress not raise a voice in opposition to the summer of 2020 violence? Instead many vocally supported it. Violence, should never be supported by our leaders but political demagoguery and telling supporters it's not their fault seems to be what we get.

There is no comparison. The reason people do things cannot be disregarded. Disregarding motive is intellectually dishonest.

Meanwhile, today Marjory Taylor Greene and House Republicans will visit convicted 1/6 insurrectionists in the DC jail.

Have to make sure they are all comfy in their air conditioned cells and have enough time on their cell-phones.

They'll be giving aid and comfort to the DC jail January 6 Capitol insurrectionists convicted of various crimes.

She's doing it again, today.

And just for the record, anyone being held without bond has been deemed a flight risk, a danger to their community or a danger to themselves by a judge. Nothing MTG does or says will change the rule of the federal judiciary.

She just putting on a show for the MAGAts. There is nothing patriotic about a bunch of rednecks who stormed the nation's capital or about MTGs antics.

Let's be real for a second. You can be arrested for protesting if police decide it's getting out of their control and issue an order to disperse and some don't disperse. That, in no way, can be construed as rioting.

Many Democrats supported the protest from the unnecessary death of an unarmed black man at the hands of a police officer.
Democrats did not support any of the violence or rioting.

Is MTG going to talk to the Oath Keepers and tell them they were wrongly accused and should be free?
Maybe some of the folks who beat police officers on Jan 6th. Tell them they did nothing wrong.
