How do you prove which bathroom YOU should use?

Umm... hate to say it but.... you do realize the history of bathrooms is a history of deny bathrooms to lots of different people right? Like for example women had to fight for the right to be a bathroom for them to use because they couldn't justify using the men's exclusive bathroom. Some women had to pee in jars and bottles because they didn't have a place to go to the bathroom. Heck want a modern version of this? Homeless people trying to use bathrooms. Why does SF and LA smell like pee? It's because there's no place for people to go to the bathroom in an attempt to deter homeless people from certain places of town.

If you are using the bathroom of your gender idneity, it is assumed that you are passing or have made a respectable effort to pass.

What bathroom should she use? yes, its the same person, 5 years later. HRT, and FFS,

Whats funny about this is that while I did see many full stalls in England, there was a window in one of the street level bathroom stalls I was in while in London. You could see people walking by the bathroom (I don't know if they could see in or not). It was a bit weird. This was at one of the chuches we toued (I'm having a poblem with a cetain lette on my keyboad).

That being said when I use the bathroom I use the bathroom for reasons I believe I am allowed to use. As is the case with every single individual when they use a public restroom. I, as well as everyone else believes that the bathroom they choose is the right bathroom for them. So that being said I want you to imagine that someone decided that you did not choose the right bathroom. My question is simple, how do you prove to another person that you deserve to use that bathroom? So for example, if you're a man, why do you deserve to use the men's room? And notice the word deserve. Because if anyone knows anything of the history of bathrooms and discrimination, then you would know how bad it stinks.

I think it's in public interest to have bathrooms otherwise you have the problem India does. Public health and sanitary living conditions depend on bathrooms.

That being said this whole bathroom debate to me seems like astroturf.

If someone looks enough like a woman but a pretty woman just a woman nobody's going to raise an eyebrow if they walk into the women's restroom same with the other way around.

So for these people it was never a problem it was never an issue.

I think the issue comes when people who are clearly not women and a 5 year olds could tell insist on using the women's restroom not just using it but making a big stink about it.

This is really about crossdressers and auto kind of files being treated like the transgender and that's not the case.

And there's all this talk about disphoria I would think that if someone who really wanted to transition made women uncomfortable in the women's restroom that would cause them disphoria. The ones that clearly look like dudes and insist on being called ma'am or throw a fit because women don't feel comfortable with them in the women's restroom or locker room if they need to make more of an effort.

It's like the burden is 100% on everyone else to accommodate these people and that's not the way it should be.

but if you go our into the world, don't expect the world to cater to you ... you and I ? we don't "deserve" that

for each person who "deserves" to go into the bathroom of their non-biological sex, how many people "deserve" bathrooms that are ONLY for their biological sex?

it works both ways
