How Deep into the GOP Does this Russian Thing Go?

Its never too late to investigate (not that its late anyway, now that "all things Russia" are the focus).

Are you a Russian plant? 3 posts, Donald wins? Really?

In any case, the thread has a topic. Your belief's about Hillary aren't really relevant. A tangent here and there is fine. Intentionally trying to derail a thread is just not nice.

Isnt past relationships fair to compare to present day relationships?
What does this have to do about staying on topic? By your definition, anything is relevant in any thread, because anyone can dredge up some fanciful "'past relationship". Good grief, no wonder you two are peas in a pod.

Pretty damned deep, at least according to this piece in the Daily Beast.

GOP Lawmaker Got Direction From Moscow, Took It Back to D.C.

In other news:

Execution is being considered for Steve Bannon.

Rudy Guliani has already been sentenced.

Trump's election will soon be overturned, and Orrin Hatch will become president.

The President faces imminent federal execution. Arrests will be made soon.

Congress has informed Trump that he may no longer use his legal powers.

The entire Republican congress is going to jail on RICO charges.

How deep into insanity have Trump's detractors sunk? Pretty damn deep, apparently.

Do you remember when conservatives and FOX News suggested Hillary killed Vince Foster to cover up White Water?
Oh, do you guys remember White Water?
What about the claim the the Clinton Foundation charity is really some pay to play scheme? Proof?
What about the claim that Hillary was running a child sex slave ring out of a pizza restaurant??
What about the claim the Seth Rich was killed by Democrats for leaking documents?

Please spare us. You loved investigating Hillary Clinton. Now sit down and chill out as Trump gets the same treatment. Every president gets accused and scrutinized. Bill Clinton got impeached. Ronald Reagan had Iran-Contra.

Trumpsters need to stop whining and wait for the results of the investigations.

I predict that Trump goes down for money laundering. He's a dishonest crooked man to the core. He's even more crooked than what conservatives imagine Hillary is.

This may be related to the question in the OP.
idk

A Top Rohrabacher Aide Is Ousted After Russia Revelations
Paul Behrends, a controversial staffer associated with the California congressman’s pro-Russia stances, was pushed out of his role on a subcommittee after questions were raised about a recent trip to Moscow.

Yep, he is the aid to the CA congressman discussed in the DB article. Obviously, there is some fire with that smoke.

The Republicans under Trump have been the party of projection. They point to corruption in the Clinton Foundation. Meanwhile Trump's foundation is stealing money from crippled kids and ripping off veterans. They holler about made in America. Meanwhile, Trump makes everything he sells overseas. They scream "Fake news!' Meanwhile, they push fake news daily. They shout, "The election is rigged!" Meanwhile they work with Russia to rig the election.

Why do you deny the intel services conclusions if they are not in on this "media hate fest" you imagine? Surely they must be feeding all this to them right? Sorry but you are stretching reality far too much to be anything but delusional. But maybe that is how far you have to go to save face?

Back in the real world, hot on the heels of his secret "discussion" with Putin, Trump has announced the end of U.S. support for the Kurds who are our allies against ISIS and Assad in Syria AND Iraq. The "deal maker" got played yet again by Putin. We will give those Spy compounds back next, you watch. I will say it is sure good to be Putin since Trump was elected. We get nothing, Putin gets it all. That's called "holding all the cards." and it sure seems Putin has them.

3 Intel services, not lie of 17, and surprise! Obama political appointees. Shock. Yeah, no credibility there.

The media hate fest is obvious, unless it speaks to your confirmation bias, also no surprise.

Ok. I stand corrected. Thank you.

NYT corrected themselves as well.

Is it still a lie after you've admitted it was a mistake and corrected it?

A deep philosophical question that could be. NYT reporting 3 then 4 wouldn't be a lie to me. The original claim of 17 would be a lie. Probably a politician.

LOL You forgot the information from the British MI6. There all in on the conspiracy to sink your God Trump. Dream on... Trump has no one to blame but his unscrupulous, immoral self. He is a walking felony looking for a prosecutor and is scared ****-less right about now. He's been asking about who he can pardon including himself. You know that accepting a pardon is the same as admitting guilt. I'm sure you will love having a felon in the highest office in the land.

Sadly it's as credible as anything from MSNBC, CNN, Fox or the rest of the MSM these days. Journalism in the news is just about sensationalism anymore. I feel bad for 'real' journalists who want to do a credible job.

The MSM is where real journalism is being done "these days", just as it always has. To me, the worst of Trump's miserable impacts on American society has been his denigration of the news media to a gullible public.

MI6? Steele? Lolz. Already discredited.

Walking felon? You're already around the bend on this one, seeing as there hasn't even been any evidence of criminality as of yet.

His impact isn't the denigration of news media, but the polarization based on his actions. He helped deepen a divide which in turn makes the news media have to go further left or right to cater to their base. His impact was increased sensationalized nature of the news. It is getting to the point that watching MSM is akin to listening to shock jocks on the radio. Media was moving in this direction long before Trump; it just seemed to hit the gas during this past election.

He has denigrated the news media since the day he took office. It's one part of a greater denigration, that of denigrating truth, the other part of which is his steady stream of lies. Your conception of the news media is as twisted as his, by the way. Good journalists seek out facts and there are still plenty of good journalists.

Has enough evidence yet emerged that shows proof positive that Trump should be impeached and thrown in jail? Probably not, at least not yet.

Has enough evidence emerged that should give us all pause and begin wondering if impeachment and incarceration may indeed be where this is heading? Hell yes!

So start the investigations because we already know Trump is guilty of something, and we need the investigation to find what the crime is?
I always thought that in the US legal system it was 'innocent until proven guilty'. Seems you've skipped that step.

"“Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.”"

The investigative team is comprised of a staff that nearly all have supported the opposing political party or candidates? How's that going to be impartial or fair in any fashion?

This appears to be what you typically see in banana republics, not in Democratic and rule of law nations.

Trump is guilty of a lot. However, since his party is in control of the only real punishments he can receive, it's just a political game right now.

"it's just a political game right now", yes that's all this investigation is, a political game, we are in agreement on this.

"Trump guilty of a lot", I was unaware that there were criminal changes filed, much less a guilty conviction. Seems you are getting ahead of yourself and the legal process.

Of course it's a game. Always has been.

There will be no "legal process." Only a political one. Presidents are above the law, unless of course, they lose political favor or have a minority in congress. You can't indict, arrest or jail a president with DOJ--lol, which he controls anyway. You can only impeach. And, that is not going to happen when his party has the majority. A president in a one-party state is above the law.

So, the real game is to take away his majority or divide it. Win the next election, preferably by exposing his many crimes so that voters make a better choice in 2018,,,and, perhaps 2020. If you are paying attention, you'll see that this plan is working rather well.

Alleged crimes, as there has been no criminality proven, as of yet, doubtful that there ever will be, as you've posted, the Democratic strategy here is to politically assassinate by conviction in the court of public opinion. Turnabout being fair play, I'd suspect the same to the next Democrat president elected.

"voters make a better choice in 2018"
Rather arrogant of the left to believe that voters didn't make the best choice given the options presented. I think what you are saying is that you saying is the the voters need to vote how you want them to vote. Let's hope that the voters continue their independence streak and continue to disappoint you and the left.

Where the Democrat party has gone, the hard far left, The Democratic tactic of intersectionality, is not a good path for the nation. Seems the voters have realized this, and have voted accordingly. The hope would be that they continue to do so.
