What does the sick, rape victims, and mental health patients have to do with the election. People are upset because of the election, not those reasons. It could be argued that the published name of the gay Saudi person helped shine light on the issue in support of the lgbt community. Also, why does a gay man in Saudi Arabia have a wife? Single is an option.

I understand that there will be casualties when the certain truths are exposed, but its the only way to cure the cognitive dissonance that plagues the world. Its weird that no one cares who killed Seth Rich and why but they have no problem condemning Assange, who is operating in the same vein as Seth Rich. I'm starting to see a pattern.

You missed the last few years when Assange steered Wikileaks away from the high road and onto the low road where he decided take sides and forward a specific political agenda ( which would be compatible with that of Putin ) , something no honorable "whistleblower" would ever do.

The point is, there is plenty on Russia and Trump's side that the whistle could have been blown on but he chose not to do it.

In short, Wikileaks, at the very minimum, lost it's way, and you think Assange should be celebrated.

I don't think Assange is getting prosecuted (if extradited to America ) for Hillary's emails and DNC hacks, he's getting ( or will be ) prosecuted for releasing Manning's classified docs, or more specifically, contributing in a specific way ( helping hack ) to Manning's efforts in acquiring them, right?

If someone blows the whistle and releases classified information that puts the gov in a bad light and exposes wrong doing, I'm all for it.
