Did you miss the democrats saying for months the only way Trump could get elected was to cheat, to somehow steal the election? Did you miss Hillary Clinton telling Joe not to concede ever, no matter what? You just can't have it both ways and expect anyone to have faith in what you say.
He can expect grown adults to maintain some control of their own minds instead of presenting themselves as easy prey for those who would so easily manipulate them. All Trump's fan club is doing is desperately trying legimtize their inability to see simple truth. It's the same transparent deflection that always occurs when the conservative collective needs to deny who they are and pretend that the issue is the other side. The fact of the matter is, the only way for Trump to win is to try and cheat. This is based on years of documented cases where Republicans have been charged with fraud, racial gerrymandering, and voter suppression. This is based on trump's documented history for habitually lying and pushing great disrespect for American democracy. Trump is trying to cheat right now:
- For months, he planted the seeds of doubt into the minds of very stupid people. The same stupid people who believed for years that Obama was born in Africa, that tomato paste is a vegetable, and that sex rings exist under pizza parlors. Oh, and who can forget the QAnon trash.
- On election day, as he began to lose, he demanded that remaining ballots not be counted, declared that America is more corrupt than Russia, China, and North Korea, and that ballots were simply magically appearing.
- He has since gone on to sue state governments, with the desperation of hoping that one of "his" judges will simply declare him the winner. Thus far, they have all scoffed at his shameless attempt to use the courts to cheat and wreck American democracy. Despite the rallying cry of the very stupid, there remains absolutely no evidence worth a judges' time. Trump is relying on debunked conspiracy. Given how easy it is for him re-create truth and alter the narrative so that he doesn't have to take responsibility or face reality, he has no reason to think that the same stupid people that have been kissing his ass for four years wouldn't be there now.
So...I find it odd that you people like to think back to Clinton's remarks, especially given that she was right. Biden won. He should not concede to a baby who so clearly was always going to lose. And if he hadn't managed to do it yet, he is also once again proving everyday what today's American conservative is worth anymore. Treason and treachery to the bitter end. If you can't win, take it all down with you and call it righteous.
