Ho Hum (Another Cop Shot and Killed)

People get shot every day in America. Policing isn't even one of the most dangerous professions.

My bad. I thought people's posts were open to the public. You could make a request that only certain people reply to your posts. It will be ignored, of course, but you could try.

Cops have rights too.

They have a right not to be ganged up on, punched, or shot......just like the people they serve.

Progressives are too ****ing stupid to understand that play into the hands of criminals.

Not getting shot on a job that they voluntarily chose is not a right that any of us have. If you don't like the risks of the job then change professions. He was not forced to become a cop. I worked a rent-a-cop in college because it allowed me to study on the job and we faced that risk every day and we were being paid 1/3 of what cops are, had very little training and we didn't have a bulletproof vest. I had 2 people tried to run me over, somebody tried to knife me and I was shot at once. Luckily he was a poor shot and didn't come close.

If we had a right not to be shot as part of the job then the POTUS or other government officials would not have a security detail such as the Secret Service.


I raced formula cars in the later 1990s and the very first thing that we experienced when I took a driver's school was a very graphic 5-minute videotape(yes, it was that long ago) of fatal and career-ending crashes. When it was over, Bertil Roos said, "Now that I have your undivided attention we can start the class" because what he was about to teach was not his opinions but how to stay alive in an inherently deadly sport. That was the Monday after the death of Aryton Senna at Imola so the point was driven home very forcefully.

If you have something to post, go ahead and post it, but you attempted to interpret someone else's post to me. I'm not interested in your explanation of someone else's post and I'm definitely not interested in your explaining my post to someone else.

Be yourself, you are the only person qualified to do so.
 
This is what BLM wants - and their corporate sponsors such as NASCAR, the NBA and the NFL support too. Want more dead cops? Give money to the NFL, NBA and NASCAR.
