Hi :)

let me be more specific. you seem a bit cranky :(
1. ignore the obvious as we say in Europe refer to Putin demonstrating his "strength"
2. Ukraine stealing money from western countries that are not accounted for
3. at same time, we still value and love Ukraine people so we must set aside our disdain for terrible Ukraine leader, to help ukrainians
4. Putin is terrified of trump. he never feared Joe Biden which is why he chose to invade after trump left. he fears no problems when trump not there.
5. ignoring the obvious means europeans ignore the fact that its very easy to defeat Putin....it just takes show of force. such as the late 1980s. I'm not sure if you were present in Germany in 1988 but it was quite the spectacle.
Ah. Your English is perfect. Welcome troll.

No, we do not align with the Joe Biden/Putin agenda that is "ignore the obvious". I align with many people in the UK (where I am now) that is - let's refocus our efforts on our own people first, and then worry about world war later. If we can do something to avoid conflict...might as well.

I align to the right when it comes to spending, and smaller government. Unfortunately, europe has a problem with rather large government.
Welcome.

After WW II, we moved to N.J. where my Mothers best friend was from Italy and made the best spaghetti I've ever eaten. And 75 years later I still think of Her often.

My number one issue is the Federal individual income tax code, which IMO is the primary source of economic disparity only exacerbated by inflation and currency devaluation which is a necessity of a debt encumbered government using a fiat monetary system.

Looking forward to your involvement in future threads.

I don’t think Biden had control of Putin. At all. It’s why we confronted Russia for the last 3 years.

I think Putin has control of Trump. Which is why Trump is rolling over for Putin now.
That's monumentally obvious... to most of the world.

For some reason unbeknownst to me, there are people in my country, the U.S., who want us to keep writing checks our asses can't cash. That's the big type of government that is going to ruin us all. Large governments are in nobody's best interests but the politicians who are invested in it to solely to buy votes. Anyway, Gia, benvenuta. :)

Hi!

Gia here. European born, spend the second half of my life here in the US. I align socially in-between the right and the left. I align more to the right wing with foreign policy - however I am not religious. I figured I would try out a website to discuss politics in a civil manner.

Have a great evening
Me too. I am in the centre. Being Canadian the last month has been crazy with Trump threatening us. I have always been pro American in foreign policy but now I can only conclude Trump is being used as a dupe for Putin destroying his government and attacking the US's best friends not to mention his own armed forces and people.

As a Jewish person, I also am a strong supporter of Israel but want peace with Gaza civilians and do not want them hurt or deported and I believe I speak for most people who are Israeli and Jewish but I admit I can only speak for me. I am pleased Canada and the EEC are standing up to the bullying of Ukraine by Trump and his tariff threats and I am genuinely relieved at the proposal by Egypt for a rebuild in Gaza which addresses all Israels' concerns and allows her moderate parties now to surface and feel able to express an alternative peace solution with Egypt that does not require threats of continued war.

I think the world is facing remarkable instability and challenges created by Trump but I think we will survive and I genuinely believe Americans to the right and left will say no to Trump and figure their way out of his negative statements that tear down but offer nothing in return. Deep inside I know Americans will find their way back from his negative and hateful statements.

That all said The US beat Canada in a hockey game yesterday so I have to prepare for war. (joking)

Hello Gia,

Welcome to Thunderdome;)
