My name is Peter, 43 years old, a big politics fan and especially interested in US politics and even the NFL.

I have had to pick socialist as my political ideology even though it is not quite what my political opinions are, I am a social democrat with some more socialist and also a lot of centrist opinions. In my country I would be seen as left from center rather than a full on socialist.

I live watching sports (olympics, speed skating, soccer, NFL, Biathlon, etc. etc.).

I realy like watching the US presidential elections every time. Last time around, in 2008 I even took 2 days off from my work to watch the election results come in (which is early in the morning here in the Netherlands). The election before that I also watched all night. In 2000 I was on holiday during the election week in a bungalow in the Netherlands and watched most of the election. I went from thinking Bush would win to going to bed thinking Gore had won, only to wake up to a Bush victory.

I love discussing politics with all political views, no matter how liberal, conservative of "other" they are
