What it looks like to me is that Perry and Bachmann have dropped and their support went to Cain. This actually makes sense, since Cain is, among the remaining candidates, the one most like Perry and Bachmann. Paul is of course holding dead steady, which is to be expected, since Paul has a fervent base and the rest of the world thinks he is bat**** insane. He will get his ~10 % consistently, without it going up or down much. The rest don't have enough support to matter much except Romney, and I am not sure who Romney supporters would switch to.
My brother in law put it(paraphrasing) that being a great business leader does not mean you would be good as a government leader, and in fact the opposite is probable. It's one of the few things politically we agree on. He mentioned the example of imagining a CEO having to work with a congress to get anything done.
He could just threaten to do things without them.
Oh like what?
I don't know. It's not my arguement. It's been used recently though.
Well it is a bad one, best not to repeat it.
I agree it's one only a fool would employ.
The only thing that really matters is that he won the florida straw poll. Every candidate that has won that poll has won the nomination.
I think about it in a completely different way. Cain's methods of demonstrating clear goals, reason, and strategy will win over congress much like it has the american people who have watched the debates. He has had a history now of surprising poll and winning the majority audience. It would be REALLY nice for a change to not have a politician in the white house. My brother in law put it(paraphrasing) that being a great business leader does not mean you would be good as a government leader, and in fact the opposite is probable. While I think Cain is a great businessman, I believe his extremely partisan stance would be too polarizing for him to be able to get much done in Washington as a president.I think about it in a completely different way. He is part of the problem with politics, not the solution. He's a shock joke, way to partisan, uses to much bias empty rhetoric and is nothing more than a mouth piece.
My brother in law and sister know him socially somewhat. Both think he is an awesome, brilliant guy who has not chance to be president, nor should he be president. Both my sister and brother in law are very conservative, so the issue is not that he is conservative, but that they don't think he has the qualifications.

Wow! I thought you were describing Obama.
Not defending obama but they are nothing alike. Obama is not a shock jock, he isnt super partisan at all, nor does he use empty BIAS rhetoric that much. "empty" maybe lol but not that
bias.
Very different and win obama ran or will run he didnt just bash the other side, nor do I think he will. I believe thats all cain will do and the american people dont want that. Especially independents and moderates.
so empty rhetoric is about all they got
How is that kool-aid?
Kool-aid?
so saying he has empty rhetoric is drinking kool-aid? LMAO
or was it saying the fact that he isnt a shick jock?
nice try but im guessing anybody that doesnt agree perfectly with you, you think drinks kool-aid or is bias huh? lol
try again
I don't need to try again. And, people do not have to agree perfectly with me. Nope, not at all. If you believe that Obama is going to run without bashing the other side, you have not been listening. Take another sip. LMAO!!!
Oh, I understand that, and it is news, and it is interesting. I am anxiously awaiting the next couple polls, to see if they show a similar spike, and wonder why he of all the candidates spiked.
There is no chance in hell that the GOP gives its nomination to a black man. That is the simply reality. Sorry....Cain Supporters, but it will never happen in todays GOP.
Cain's showing in Florida is simply the result of Perry's stances on social security and medicare, which highlights why he isn't electable.
