Here's What I Think Will Happen in in 2012 Election

More in deficits not more deficits, you liberals are something else, like sharks jumping on anything you can to win an argument. Bush had 1 trillion dollar deficit in 8 years, Obama already has 3 in three years and a 4th projected.

Well pardon me for responding what you wrote and not what you MEANT to write!

The tax increase was retroactive to January 1993 not 1998. The Republicans lost seats but retained control. Keep trying to re-write history. Republicans won the Congress in overwhelming numbers in 1994

As the note says, the party of a sitting President almost ALWAYS loses seats in mid-term elections. That's why '98 was such an embarrassment and why poor Newt was forced out of his leadership role and eventually out of Congress altogether.

The problem is you knew what I meant but instead of letting it go you tried to capitalize on it.

Got it, the 1994 elections weren't an embarrassment to the President but the 1998 elections were an embarassment to the Republicans. Thanks for sharing that information.

So getting back to the thread topic, who has the confidence to say for the record here they honestly think a majority of voters will pick Romney in November?

I'd say that the size of the '94 Republican win was an embarrassment for Clinton. So what? He won reelection and left office with an approval rating 30 points higher than Bush's when he left office.

Romney can't take on Obama.

If enough people are brainwashed like you then Obama will be re-elected. If they look at the Obama record and the GOP Candidate's record then Obama will be a one term President. Doubt there is anything anyone can say to change your mind as results obviously don't matter to you and you need the Obama kind of massive expansion of the Federal Govt.

Yes he did, but Bush wasn't impeached for breaking the law, lying under oath

So what is your call for the record. Con? Will it be Romney or Obama that will win?

That seems to be the growing consensus even among conservatives.

Gallup disagrees with you

From the Washington Examiner, today:
Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidentialapproval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 PennsylvaniaAvenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he hada net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percentto 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee323 electoral votes to 215.

He's not the candidate the Republicans want, or need, but he's the one they deserve.

I want to believe in the American people therefore I say Romney would win. the Obama results disqualify him for another four years

I don't think the country deserved Obama but that is who we got

What this country deserves is a nice, compassionate individual who want's to help the people, and will stop at nothing to bring this country back to greatness.

We've got a better chance of Mars announcing they'd like to become a part of Russia.

Glad we finally got you on the record!!!

Bringing back to greatness is unleashing the power of the American people, not the power of the micromanaging Federal govt. What do you think the role of the Federal govt. is since your leaning is Libertarian?

Given that the approval ratings for the GOP have been much lower than for Obama, this proves what exactly?

It proves as usual you don't know what you are talking about. Obama approval ratings say he will lose the electoral vote as popular vote doesn't elect the President

His approval ratings don't mean anything unless they're lower than the approval rating of his opponent. Obviously.

The job of the government is ensure the safety of it's citizen, and allow them to life their lives.

JAR's don't mean squat, Con.
