That said, this guy swore he wouldn't drink for the duration of this role.

If this story is true, I say fire him.
 
I tend toward the position that being a sot and a lech don’t matter as much as him being a mediocre man and him not having non negotiable principles.

The video in the OP is not faked. I'm not sure if there is alcohol in that glass but it sure looks like he wishes there was some in there. I mentioned the same in another thread. The licking of the lips, the hunch over the glass and furtive sip are suspicious.

I think it is water, but it appears to be darker because of his suit and orange (MAGA makeup) skin.

Those short sips are a bit weird. There is another video floating around where he sips like that 5 times, just quick sips. Maybe he only needs to moisten his mouth?
 
He should be expected to do a breathalyser every day to prove he isn't drinking.

Hes drinking water. That is obvious to anyone not in stage 4 TDS

I agree actually. That is why I placed it in the CT forum, because social media was all over it when I posted.

I used to drink hard liquor, and I would sip like he does. But he can also be seen to swish the liquid around in his mouth which I don't think many people would do with booze. I know I wouldn't.
