Heated political debates vs Hyperventilating

Do you prefer hyperventilating in a debate or enjoy a good ole fashion debate sans hyperventilating

Too much of the latter, a bit of the former, with an obvious lack of respectful debate.

True or not? AND what part do YOU play in which way it goes?

What part YOU play, never mind whatabout...............

If you disagree, you are

hyperventilating

That's flaky!

When YOU see those incendiary titles do YOU hyperventilate? And, are YOU only concerned about incendiary titles from one side or do you consider ANY criticism of Trump as being incendiary as well? Did you hyperventilate when you saw this thread?
Careful, the usage of all caps is a sure sign of drama.

Other.

I have reasoned, if heated, political arguments.

My opponents hyperventilate.

I don't start threads for the most part. In the last one I did start, all I said was that I was back posting after many years, and that elicited a gang pile of attacks against me by authoritarian leftists
Maybe they just personally dislike you.

That was predicated by your history of posting nasty, stupid shit constantly.
Nobody to blame but yourself.

Interesting observation, I only know Canadian conservatives and they are VERY VERY good at debating without hyperventilating. Can't say I have noticed the same about American conservatives.

I would lose the word "very" in wake of conservative leader Dingus McDoofus and his stunning brainless performance in the last election. When a bland waffle like Carney can outshine you without working up a sweat its time to move on.

He reminds me of a guy I played hockey with. Jesus! Could he TALK a good game, but when the puck hit the ice he was always out of position.

Good hair though

Also, Canadian conservatives look eerily alive if you see them out of the corner of your eye.

That's not all you said. And why do you try to hide your posting history?

I prefer a factual debate where you might actually learn something from someone who thinks differently. But how can you have a debate with people who cheer while their leader dismantles their democracy, and with it, all debate? I try to take it with stoic arrogance, but it’s a bit too surreal to prevent myself from eventually hyperventilating.

Explain what you mean by hyperventilate?

I voted for Doug Ford.

One example of hyperventilating is when you have to go on and on and on and on ..............

If you disagree, you are

hyperventilating

That's flaky!

The double down.

(y)

AKA this thread.

Explain what you mean by hyperventilate?

When do "you" know this is happening?

Since you can't see any of the posters, do you have a sixth sense you use?

More of the same to come I am sure. Fine by mean. Some people DO get defensive. I prefer to move on and discuss other topics rather than do this all day long. But hey, if you want to, do carry on.

You don't react well when you get challenged on this BS.

The ‘Great Debates’ in international relations theory

IJ Benneyworth

These disputes throughout IR’s short history have come to be known as ‘The Great Debates’, and though disputed it is generally felt there have been four, namely ‘Realism/Liberalism’, ‘Traditionalism/Behaviouralism’, ‘Neorealism/Neoliberalism’ and the most recent ‘Rationalism/Reflectivism’.
