Heated political debates vs Hyperventilating

Do you prefer hyperventilating in a debate or enjoy a good ole fashion debate sans hyperventilating

I first encountered that sentiment as a budding young reporter in the late 1960's.

As excuses go its more than old its blue fuzzy stuff growing on it

Many Americans are more concerned with projecting artificial virtue than being virtuous.

The entire preoccupation with finding "microaggressions" is geared towards intimidation, and acts as a simple conditioned response. A person says one thing and their little peeps all congratulate them. Say something else and they are pilloried. There is no actual thought involved, as the groupthink involved acts on a level more akin to fascism as people are forced into an ideological straitjacket by all the abuse they face lest they use their own mind.
Only a person not subject to those microaggressions would minimize them
