Wow iguanaman and Neomalthusian. You guys have a pretty good debate going on. I have pulled some of the highlights from your discussion.
What's the score so far? Keep it up. You guys are funny.
I'm on the opposite side of the argument but I have to agree this is a really good come back. 10 points for this comment. (10 points is the maximum I give out for individual comments.)The reason to buy health insurance is so you won't be a burden to others if you need care. I know that seems stupid to a Conservative. The last thing they think of is "others", they are a good reason for needing the mandate.
As a reason to deny coverage of course. The reason to buy health insurance is so you won't be a burden to others if you need care.
Neomalthusian. You only get 1 point for this comment. This was not the silliest thing that iguanaman has ever said. Did you read this one? That has to be the silliest thing you have ever said.
Surely that is sillier than anything that he has said thus far in this thread.Forced altruism is still altruism.
This was a come back to this comment from iguanaman:Neomalthusian said:It's stupid to anyone who understands what insurance is.
Your comeback was pretty good. It is abundantly clear that iguanaman thinks that insurance companies are government agencies or charitable organizations. He doesn't know what insurance is or he thinks the nature of insurance changes because of the type of expense covered. I'll give you 8 points for it.I know that seems stupid to a Conservative.
What's the score so far? Keep it up. You guys are funny.
